technically, phillips made king harkinian, since these games came out before wind waker, which was the only zelda game that had king harkinian in it. so technically nintendo broke a law by not giving phillips credit when they put king harkinian into wind waker. so yeah. somethin to think about there.

Link and the King realized that they could've avoided the whole adventure if they just ordered for 1-Up mushrooms to revive Zelda right after Ganon killed her in the first part. They could've avoided Zelda becoming a powerful Ganon slave and being captured by her.

oh! he could have just called mario and asked for mushrooms, but then anon would still be alive and he could have done it again, this way they killed ganon, his subordinantes, and destroyed the bomb leaving no way for anyone new to use it, and the world was rid of ganon forever

To clear some things up, Ganon brought all his equipment to make the bomb from shops around the Hyrule area after bombing the castle. If Link and the King were still there, they could've stopped it. They could also use Gwonam to transport there fast enough if another bomb was coming. So by just rushing out and trying to kill Ganon, they chose a much more difficult path, what with struggling in the desert and being captured and all.
