i dont think its fair to say heady and showtekk have "commercialised", i will admit theyre exploring new depths of hardstyle, and to some, that is straying form true hardstyle.. but keep in mind that headhunterz is still keeping to true hardstyle, his "bert"kick is similar to the punch kicks we hear from toneshifterz and, of course, the noisecontrollers which has become the epic trend for hardstyle over the past 14 months. so theyre not straying too far they just want "the style to evolve"

@DjIbmajster The definition of Commercialization, its Changing your style of music, to hit the mainstream and a larger audience, and that way earn more money and fame, which is excactly what showtek and headhunterz did. I have close to no respect left for them. One of the most attractive aspects of hardstyle for me, is that it is about the music and not the money. Or atleast it used to be....

Tbh, i like A-Lusion and Tatanka more than any other hardstyle producer, because they are some of the only ones left, that still got their style, that they had back in 2006-2007. Those people are standing still at the Defqon mainstage, but when I go to the purple or blue stage, the crowd is going wild. That's the difference. And Tatanka is a hero! And the new songs of Wildstylez and Noisecontrollers are also awesome. The only dj i don't like anymore is Headhunterz, he became to soft for me

His style is going softer and softer, which proves he is more in it for the money and fame than the actual passion the lies in hardstyle. Therefore i dont respect him anymore. He is a skilled producer. no doubts. but he is slowly turning his back on hardstyle just like showtek did.

@tux3n Yeah, hardstyles is at least 3 years old, it's time to get bitter and cynical about it. Truly, this is the music of kings and should be kept on a pedestal. Face it, hardstyle has been dance music from the beginning. It's loud, bouncy, fun and sometimes "scary", but claiming things went commercial is silly, especially considering the fact that most of North America has never heard of it.

@soviut Dance music has, and will always be a european thing mainly. headhunterz and especially showtek has expanded deeper and deeper into the mainstream over the last couple of years. Headhunterz tracks has gotten softer and softer and Showtek doesent even make hardstyle anymore. and Hardstyle is Waaaaaay older than 3 years man.

@tux3n I love chris One But i love headhunterz as well! hardstyle is different from what it used to be. i do miss headhunterz old stuff from 2007 his best shit imo but still i support him cause he brings something new and helps to get hardstyle known. People have to slowly progess from mainstream to other things. Hes like a stepping stone in some sense. Music is music dont hate it, love it.
