Big up for the post bless. I cant say who did the first Hip Hop Reggae track back then but for sure most of the early UK Rap artists came from sound system backgrounds. I know this because I was an Mc with a leeds Sound called Maverick International. In the early 80's most Reggae Mc who aspierd to Hip Hop saw the similarity in the beats and rhymes. So the relationship between Reggae and Hip Hop UK is deeply rooted.
