E,G,A,BFlat,B,D, = Root, Flat3rd, 4th, Flat5th, 5th, Flat7th = 'E' Blues scale - Work's well over E, A, and B7th, also Em, Am, and Bm7th, or B7th. Try it over this backing track, which by the way sound's like it's in 'E MAJOR' and NOT 'E MINOR'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - USE OVER ALL THREE CHORD'S - BUT DON'T FORGET TO TARGET YOUR NOTE'S FOR BEST RESULT'S - GOOD LUCK TO ALL BLUE'S LOVER'S!!!!!!!!
Very good. This backing track can be a good horse if the guitarist is a good rider.
I'm now working on a blues for that.I hope I could be a good rider.(When I ride my horses I've the same feelings in my fingers, arms, body and legs when I play the guitar)
@spagbog1q2w I think you have your theory confused. E major and E minor are TOTALLY different, what you're talking about is the difference/similarities between E major, and C#minor. The notes played in the song determine it's keys, and the fact that the lead line is using a G instead of a G# followed by an E note means the key is E minor for that section. The song also moves into a Major feel as well when it uses a B dominant 7th chord. It is both.
@RockerforChrist1027 its not e minor man, one of the box shapes for the minor pentatonic scale fits into e major - because the minor and major scales are exactly the same but the root notes start on a different note in the scale.
The scale to be used is not the Minor one, but the Blues Pentatonic Scale! It very similar to Minor Pentatonic, but it shows some "blue notes" that I won´t tell you because I want everybody find them out. No pain, no gain. Any questions contact me. Hugz!
the guy isnt playing Eminor he is playing a blues on Eminor SCALE and not only the chord.
Of course th are some major notes like G,C&D
There are the minor like A,B&E
And the Diminute like F#
But the author of the song can make changes but i dont fink that that hapend cause in a backingtrack u chould only use the chords IN the scale so i think every thing is in EmBlues
Every one make mistakes sorry for mi grammar ones (i'm from Brasilia,Brasil).i apologise yours(LOL)
@loly220 This isn't E Minor or Major. This is a twelve-bar in E. If you're referring to what solo "scales" to use, major and minor E pentatonic scales work here as well as countless other scales and modes.
Um...fuck ya! Great track.

Well, it's a song in E major, but minor pentatonic scale fits perfectly into major blues.

Technically it's a mix of E minor and E major. But both scales fit for sure.
