  • that song sounds familiar I know I played it what is the name of it but yea the quality was pretty bad

  • it sounds terrible and plus it sounds wrong WE PLAY IT BETTER!!!

  • My 6th grade band played the exact same song XD This year we are playing Eye of the Tiger and Low Rider haha. We actually sound pretty good!

  • i play the trumpet in a jounior high band and this is one of our songs :)

  • trumpets need to back off for the low tones soli

  • Comment removed

  • i love playing this song!!! your band should get electric guitars and base, then improv with it!!! it sounds sooo kool!!!

  • my band played this!

  • mine is rite now

  • Btw im in the 7th grade

  • Dude i'm a pro drummer and i can solo the whole god dam song....

  • where is this high school? i wonder if f lecture high school band is in the back.......

  • i play the solo an octave up...get at me (1st chair high school)

  • @blacstar101 you may be able to play the solo an octave up but what better does that get you? OOOOOOOooo 1st Chair High School....dang you are living the life. ..wait til you are out and no one will care if you were the allstate leading rusher in football....REally?

  • @Ride2thyTOP Well people will remember me because the solo was so amazing.

and people will also remember me because I'm majoring in music; therefore, i will be playing in a symphony. GET OFF MY NUTS.

  • easy:P..

  • I CANNOT get the stinking solo

-7th grade played for two years.but this year i got like so much better since i started middle school:D

  • WAIT my bad i just heard the solo in this one...WHAT THE HECK>=(

  • those trumpets bring the whole band to shame

  • Keep in mind this was recorded on an outdated digital camera. The sound is distorted. The treble part especially.

  • well yeah, the camera is a key part, but even with that taken into consideration they're still out of tune a bit.

  • Yeah, someone else said that too. I play the trumpet so I had to defend myself somewhat. :p

  • i play the trumpet too

  • I play 1st part and i like this :D but yeah phailinggiraffe is right cause the trumpet was a little out of tone.... in the solo part and a note before the drum solos

  • dude seriously! i play trumpet and i play this song in my band (middle school by the way) and i can play that solo waayyyyy better then those guys can

  • @phailinggiraffe what more do you expect? THEYRE TRUMPETS! my band director yells at them all the time

  • @phailinggiraffe as always

  • my ms is playin this with my hs in like 2 weeks!

  • Wow, trumpets tuning.

  • the trumpets were terrible, but the rest of the band was good.

  • I think it's cool that marching bands get to perform their own versions of "Louie Louie" at parades and football events. In a scene of "The Naked Gun", the marching band performs the song while walking over Ricardo Montalban. I find that as a hilarious comedic film moment!

  • You guys are lucky - it looks like you do that every half-time show. We get to do it once - at homecoming...and that's the only time we get as well so we're not even qualified as a "marching band"...and I envy you, that version sounds a lot more fun than what we play LOL

    BAND GEEK ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!

  • You mean you do not perform for your halftimes?! That is crazy.

  • i know....the dance team always takes over by then...They just like us for homecoming LOL

  • we do this every game at the beginning and we march it around the track. and sometimes when we r sitting in the stands we just randomly play it!!!! i love my band!

  • i learned this in 5th grade.still love this song.I can play solo!

  • Sit down, have a scone. Make yourself at home.

  • cool i play trombone..and i play this all the time at my high school football games

  • at least the crowd watches! all the rednecks in my town just go off and smoke pot behind the stands during our halftime shows.

  • i hear ya! where do u live?

  • Looks like the band on the track doesn't understand what "Parade Rest" means..

  • dang you guys play in middle school. We played only 2 football games in middle school and we played this song.. to bad we share our 8th grade band with 7th grade and they suck..Anywho my band teacher sucks and doesnt teach us anything and is over weight but what the heck..

  • my marching band plays this when we go 2 disneyland. i play tennor, alto and barry sax

  • Ours does too, and only our Trumpet players are good.

  • haha i cant manage to get down the trumpet solo

  • wehn our band plays it, we only have one guy do the solo. hes really good though. i have been working on it and about halfway through it i crash. :(

  • It's actually not that hard. When i first looked at it, i almost crapped my pants. Its really not that bad, surprisingly.

  • this was your show?

  • part of the show.

this was with the middle school and our shows usually consist of 3 and rarely 4 songs.

  • Lol the trumpets have the wrong part. We play this and we are in junior high.

  • It might be a different arrangement.

I know the arrangement we have is very old.

  • AWSOME TRUMPET SOLO!!!!!! i play this

  • try tounging more

  • we did this song in Myrtle Beach in 2005 (my freshman year) and won 1st place in all the marching classes so this song brings back good memories :)

also we did this song for pep band at a basketball game one time...we started out super slow & then all of a sudden, we sped up to like 180...just to mess with the cheerleaders' heads..& to give us entertainment =P

  • i play this song at pep band. the percussion was ok, but the trumpet was kind of weird to me, and the sax was not that loud. overall, the song is great

  • its too legato

  • ya i agree, its not hard, and i play the trumpet too

  • its not that hard i play trumpet

  • good articulation for the trumpets but you need to get that note drop togther

  • even though its easy, its a great sounding song

  • easiest song ever :P

except trumpets have one moderatly hard part

Tombones, Tenors, Percussion, Baritones/Euphoniums, Tubas have it especially easy

  • Yes. This was performed with the MS bands, so it had to be something pretty easy.

  • hell yeah keith you can hear my bass drum extremly well and i think this was the football game i got yelled at for trying to bust my drumhead

  • i played this in 6th grade lolz

  • we played this for my marching band too, too bad the seasons over
