Can someone please tell me what EXACTLY is causing the whole truck to move like that? I know it's the revving of the engine, but is it because of the pistons? The transmission? I'm wondering and would like to learn.

i got a 77 ford short box i am building. its got a 400 c in it and it rocks just like this if not more. and the nice thing its just a 2bbl now. cant wait to cam it and put a 4bbl and headers and roller lifters and rockers. then it should damn neared flip over

Man, gotta love the modifieds and how they make trucks rock like that. I have an '84 that I put a solid axle and a modified into and it does that. Love it!

Its just an M block that Ford made, just a name. like a triton v8, clevland, boss302, etc.

@triathlon4ever m on the 351 means midland modified is when it's been turned into a 400 using a windsor or cleavland kit

@dich777 You don't know what the F*&$ you are talking about!! 351M is just an engine that Ford made after the 351C was discontinued. It is basically a 400 but uses a different crankshaft and different pistons. Put a 400 Crank and pistons in it and you will have a 400!! Whats with your BS about a Windsor or Cleveland kit?? The Windsor and Cleveland 351 are completely different motors!! Do some research before you open your yap!!!
