@tamerswan 4/17/2011--Cage started hitting vehicles and tried to get into a taxi, police said. An officer saw that Cage was drunk and told him to get out of the cab. Cage then yelled at the cop. In the UK, if someone thinks that what you wrote was defaming or damaging, you must prove that your comments are true in court In the USA ,in bringing action for defamation, a public figure must prove that "actual malice". & you knew the statement false, or was a reckless disregard of truth

Kathleen also said Nicolas Cage was arrested twice for drunk driving(which was false) and also said nasty things about his performance in "Peggy Sue got married." Very ego-driven bitter lady. I used to like her. Not anymore.

He should be ashamed he used Englands' Easy-Bake courts. He should be banned from coming back to the USA.

Believe me when I say we're the ones provoking negative comments, and negative reviews for his acting in his recent films, by expecting that backwards, impossible, unrealistic transformation. What's more, if we really think about, it, deep down, we're just being selfish, just wanting it for ourselves, not children, at all.

Enjoy his old, eighties films, and reminisce, joyously, but stop expecting him to return to the rebel image. You're wasting your time. It won't happen, ever. Look at the positive things he's doing or done through his more recent films for the kids of this generation, and you might see him in a more positive light, and realize you're being more selfish than him, with your attitude.

She said in her book, that she THINKS he was arrested for kidnapping a dog.She did not lie, this is what she remembers, Cage was a real asshole back then, and probably lied about it to seem cool, only Kathleen thought he was telling the truth.
