The vast majority of scientists that have become muslim did so after conducting their own investigation of the matter (at times taking a few years to do so). The video clarifies that William Hay had not drawn the conclusion that the scientifically sound verses described in the Quran were of a miraculous nature. I don’t expect this would deter its current or future adherents. That this religion is the subject of such debate, even among atheists, drew me to want to delve into it.

If science confirms god why do the people most able to judge reject all religions. Why is there racism towards blacks in Arab countries that have large black populations today? Why did just recently Arabs in some Muslim countries have black slaves and treat blacks like 2nd class citizens?

Now, the reason why the Europeans did so well were because they were in the apex of all the cultures, sharing information and trade. The thesis is that Europeans had access to metal that could be mined with primitive tools, because it was closer to the surface than in most places.
