  • I keep watching 3.05 over and over again, the little things that made him a comedy great.

  • In his own way, Farley really took control!

  • lol,Chris..awesome..anyone have another Letterman appearance where he cartwheels onto the stage and talks about eating a gallon of weight watchers ice cream?

  • my teacher said i look like him i think he's pretty funny but u don't think that i look like him. more jack black than him

  • @ultimatesoccer100 Your teacher is begging to be shot xD she's a bitch tell her I said that xD

  • He must've been really strong. He moves like a guy who weights 150lbs and I bet he weighted about 300lbs. Chris was one of the best in physical comedy.

  • @m4ffe Yes once I read one of his co-stars (i think david spade) saying people "didn't know" how strong Chris Farley was, like beneath the fat he was all muscles. Thats why u can see in some movies he can do a sliding star. Another interesting thing is he was supposedly a GREAT DRAMA actor, this being something else people dont know.

  • @andywhorehall There will never be another chris. He was one of a kind.

  • hes totally coked out in this you can tell

  • Chris was a good man. Quite amazing someone so funny had a drinking and drug problem. He is truly nervous here or keyed up on cocaine during this interview. Either way he was a very funny man. He will be missed.

  • 4:29 what´s the song?

  • @DonRMB band of gold

  • Read Farley's biography "The Chris Farley Show" and you'll know he wasn't even drinking during this period, Lorne Michaels threatened to kick him off SNL if he drank or did drugs. Except for his first year, Chris was clean and sober all throughout his stint at SNL and active in AA. The look Chris gives Dave at the end when he calls him the life of the party, priceless...

  • slapstick Konig !!!!

  • I love that he actually buttons the things on his shirt when Dave mentions it... he seems like the nicest guy

  • he is not high in this it is just who he is

  • @daredeviljoe127 I've read the biography written by his bro, it turns out that when farley was younger he was very shy and didn't have too many friends so he started acting like that in high school people thought he was funny and later on in life he used it as a tool for his comedy. That is all him!

  • i think that in this interview he got some cocain in his blood

  • @warks12T shut the hell up

  • Take it from a former coke addict he is coked out of his mind right here

  • do you really think its the coke that does it? i really think that was just his natural character.

  • the king

  • haha Letterman getting scared when farleys hands are flying around...he was a true legend...

  • Damn, after I heard the Jim Bruer story on here about Chris,I feel even sadder watchin his clips.R.I.P Chris.

  • HIGH AS KITE!!!

  • Typical Farley after a typical coke session

  • I love how you all say he is so nice...

how many of you met him.. Im not saying he was mean but you can't just assume stuff about him based on interviews...

  • @PundlaBear

wtf are you talking about so you're saying the cast of jersey shores aren't jerks based on their interviews

you can clearly tell chris farley had a good soul, and he was humble caused he always use to to blame himself before other actors

you dont know what your saying.

  • @joe0ner I don't assume the jersey people are dicks based on the interviews

i assume that based on their shitty show

People can put on acts you dont know shit until you meet them

    use reason.....

  • @PundlaBear

so you telling me Michael Jackson is not a nice guy by the donation he has given, you have to wait and meet the guy to realize he's a nice guy?

chris farley was a nice person

the fact that people made fun of his weight problem and he was willing to take it

automatically i know chris farley is a good person

and thats not an act chris farley did have a wieght issue but his used this problem for humor.

  • @joe0ner

not saying michael jackson is good or bad.... but a donation isn't a big deal when you have everything you already want....

  • @PundlaBear

wow theres some artist out there that keep ALL of their money, people who give a large sum of their money even though they dont need it their doing a good deed cause it goes for a good cause

do you have a little voice in your head saying you're right

you need a plunger to clean the shit in your head.

  • @joe0ner

Yes because your illogical. Of course they are going to give to charities. They don't need it! And I'm not saying any celebrity is mean, but I am saying you can't judge a celebrities character based on interviews when its just as easy to put on an act.

You obviously care way more about this than I do so I'm going to stop there. I've realized that there is no way I am going to reach a logical side of you so have fun over there on the illogical side with the rest of the world

  • true genious.

  • Cocaine's a helluva drug.

  • i wouldve loved to see a batman movie starring chris farley as batman and david spade as robin...wouldve been hysterical..

Farley falling alot and ripping the bat suit with spade looking like a 12 yr old girl in his robin costume just ripping batman to shreds with his sarcasm...god that wouldve been great

  • I love when he talks about his parents. Cracks me up more than ANYthing else he does.

  • coked out of his head

  • @C21H23ClFNO2 didn't think I did

  • @dannyd1572

2 different ppl. 2different styles, cant compare the both. Both were good

  • Chris was just a naturally funny guy. Effortlessly funny!

  • had he lived, i couldve seen him playin Peter Griffin in a live action Family Guy movie

  • How many people has cocaine killed?

  • 3:09 xDDDDD LOL! i luv him!

  • Whats the name of the song he dancing(Aerobic) to?

  • Yea... blow blow, but you can see how real he is after 2:02 when he gets all nervous, Dave recognizes it and moves in a bit.

  • dude he defiantly did some blow before he went on stage hahaha i love this guy

  • @tippmanna5lol1 ....... if you look at hes documentry he was Never on drugs when he did interviews or movies or skits on SNL...yes he did alot of drugs n he was a party animal but only off work...i really miss him

  • @MindUrBizzness Are you kidding me? You'r living in a dream land. As knowing someone that was fairly close with him. Chris was an addict.....he insufflated cocaine often.....no matter work or play. Take a look @ his other Letterman interview. Those that know cocaine sings....it's obvious. Sad that his addictions won......he was def. one of the funniest.

  • Dave loved Chris

  • Nobody can ever wear a suit like Chris Farley did. R.I.P.

  • can anyone tell me when was it when he came on someones late night show and when he came out he tripped and fell on his face(totally as a joke). i thought it was just one of the funniest things ever! idk why.

  • one of those rare guys who can make you laugh wherever...Letterman loved him...rest in peace

  • damn shame- good book

  • Let's hope Artie L. doesn't turn out the same way.

Farley, if he didn't die would could been one of the best physical comedians in history.

Hell he already can be considered one of the best.

So sad what happened to the guy. Seemed like a good guy, he just had addictions.

  • @andywhorehall

Will Sasso is another quality large and funny fella. Although not so large anymore.

  • Man I miss this guy....

  • God I miss Farley - Jack Black isn't fit to carry his jockstrap

  • My god, don't even compare them!

  • He shouldn't have to.

  • man, we miss you chris

  • RIP chris

  • he is on coke.

  • i love farley but he is a lot more then nervous

  • Party like Chris farley!

  • This is amazing. The way he reacts when Dave touches him on the arm....lol, he was so nervous.

  • hahahah dude he was hilarious.

  • .....Thanks.... :(

  • your welcome

  • Hhhmm...?

I was actually expecting Chris to colapse on David's desk in the end.

  • collapse*

  • chris is so good. i miss him.

  • Chris Farley was such an interesting individual.

  • cocaine enforced on your mind

  • Comment removed

  • he did a fat fkn line of blow b4 he did this interview

  • he died :(

  • God bless Chris Farley!

  • he wasn't better, they were equally funny.

  • God Bless You, Chris!!!

  • Paul and the band playing "Down by the River" when he comes in is a great touch.

  • I also get "cramped" and all spasmed up like him when i get into social situations..funny for some but a hell for the dude that has it. I feel with you Chris R.I.P

  • Amen. I totally agree.

  • david was if Just Goofy or crack?

i hate to say this but CRACK IS HELL OF A DRUG

  • rip dude, fucking legend

  • what a fantastic comedian

    RIP

  • 1:58 Not all there...(Cocain)

  • RIP old friend.

  • dudes got some fast twitch

  • dude was definitely on a lot of drugs. still very funny, but kind of sad at the same time.

  • No way. Funny as Farley could be, Candy had much more range and could fit into many more comic situations. Check out the SCTV DVDs.

  • I'd recommend the book "The Chris Farley Show"... Chris was ultimately very dysfunctional, was completely in awe of his alcoholic father, and really wanted nothing but to entertain people. He had no idea how to shake the roles like Beverly Hills Ninja and other shit like that (which he knew were beneath him), really sad stuff

  • man, i remember on snl, he and adam sandler were always together man..... kinda like sandler and schneider now......

damn it,he was gonnbe the new John Candy

    WHY?!?!??!?!!

  • I miss him.

  • why bag the man?

  • bless his soul, he was a nice guy

  • most comedians are tragic

  • most? If by most, you mean a few...then you're right! For every comedian that ends up a tragedy, I'll name 5 that aren't! Thus, most is an incorrect description!

  • "ends up"? I'd say this applies to their personality. How many comedians do you know?

  • I know dozens, many of whom youve never heard of, and many you have. I grew up in Boston and had a friend who worked at Nicks Comedy Stop. I've met Lenny Clark, Steven Wringht, Dennis Leary, Joe Rogan and other stars, as well as people you may not have heard of like Kenny Rogerson, Barry Crimmins, Frank Solomita, Paula Poundstone, Don Gavin, Kevin Meany, and DJ Hazzard. Comedy clubs were bigger in Boston in the 80's and early 90's than in LA.

  • @walidhendrix He so was. Rea;;y genuine dude. Too bad he got involved with the heavy drugs. If only he could have smoked weed instead...
