  • that is crazy I think my grandfather had one of those in his basment and it may have been put out to the curb by my goofy aunt not knowing what it was.Sadly alot of classic and rare obsolete items were put out to the curb after my grandfather passed still urks me to think about it.

  • @delmontcrusier Don't beat yourself up over it! It has happened to almost everyone! That's the way it goes............ one man's junk is another's treasure! My friend John is one lucky dude!

  • Well you could, however there are a few issues... (1) The original finish is still not too bad! It can only be original once. (2)It could be refinished to look really nice! Just take a few 20's out of your wallet and burn them - it would effect the value of the radio. (3) It's not my radio :( Sigh........................

  • with a belt sander, you could strip that down, and put a really nice finish on it!!!

  • John, Nice radio! If you sell it, don't forget my cut... :-)

  • wow what a find!!!!!!!!!!

  • @quincyoil When he told me about this radio a few months back, I could not believe it either. I'm still looking for the garaged 57 Chevy with 2000 mikes!

  • @Radiowild I meant miles!
