My copy of the CD should be arriving any day now... I hope that there is more A capella on it.. These guys excel in A capella that's what makes them stand out...

Hope you love the CD! I am biased, but think all the tracks are great. We only went with one acappella on the CD, thinking that most people like the songs with music. The acappella song is an original by the group, and is also on the CD with music. You will be able to hear them do more acappella when you see them on the next PBS Special, which should air starting in December. They sounded fantastic and the audience loved them!

@DooWopJoe That's too bad about only one A capella... I was looking for most of them to be... I am a 100% A capella man myself... So is my group "THe Fairlanes"

But I have seen several of your works on YOUTUBE and am sure I won't be disapointed with the performance only the fact that they are not A capella.. We have a rehearsal here on Youtube doing Da Do Run RUn.. Good luck

The group will not be seen on the PBS special on March 5, 2011, but on a later one. However, their performances will be included as bonuses on the DVD that is being issued in conjunction with this new show! So, support PBS and get the DVD!

If you watch the program during the breaks when they are seeking pledges, you will see a clip of the Earth Angels' performance. Also, two of the guys, Christian and Joan are backing my friend, John Gummoe of the Cascades, on "Rhythm of the Rain" and Christian, Joan and Pol are backing Kathy Young on "A Thousand Stars." The songs done by the Earth Angels on their own will be seen in a new doo-wop special at a later date -- maybe a year or two from now.
