Kucinich and Paul are both straight shooters but Paul would necer go along with Kucinich's single payer medical plan and Kucinich would disagree on a lot of Paul's limited government stances. They both agree on the war and are willing to work across the isle which is a great thing but they are two different extremes and would not be that compatible.
A TRUE UNITED States of America ! Democrat & Republican ! Go Dennis/Ron !
Dennis won the early debates he was in when there were 8 Democratic candidates and now in the past 10 days he has been barred from both the ABC debate in NH & the upcoming Jan.15 Nevada NBC debate? Why?? Now there are only 4 Dem. candidates left . I researched that in Texas he has been barred from the ballot because he didnt blindly swear he would support the Dem. chosen ?? Hes fiercely independent!!
Ron associates himself with him, not us. If you did your research, you would know that Ron and Dennis are extremely good friends. And you better hope that if Ron Paul can't win, then Dennis does. Because those are the only two that care about you.
Kucinich & Paul would be the best pair this country could ask for, for 1 main reason... these are the only 2 candidates that aren't CFR members (NWO globalists). They know it and I'm sure that's why they're aligning. Check out WY Rep. Stan Jones on UTube. America's sovereignty and future is at risk. Don't vote another CFR member in the White House!
But if Kucinich dropped out right now and publicly supported Ron Paul, that could start a tidal wave of anti-war democrats to register as republican to vote for the Ron Paul/Kucinich ticket.
The bottom line is, neither one of these men will be their party's nominee. If they are serious, the only chance they have is to run as independents. If they ran together as independents, they might do about half as well as Ross Perot did. I'm a DK supporter and even I know he doesn't have a chance. I hope everyone has a Plan B.
They are totally opposites on most issues. He must have been kidding. Ron Paul doesn't even believe in climate change or Medicare. What do these two men have in common? They are anti-war, that's it. They even interpret the constitution differently.
Kucinich didn't really mean this, he couldn't have.
I have a lot of RP videos saying the same of DK; and RP people say the exact same thing as you. What we need to understand is our Constitution itself is under attack, RP and DK have co-sponsored many bills to restore our basic rights. Its beyond philosophy of governance itself. RP is also against pro corporate agendas (NAFTA/WTO) and both are NOT in the CFR. We are talking about two very honorable and sincere men with honest differences of opinion.
Yea, but he's not stupid, he may see the writing on the wall. Why not align himself now? Certainly couldn't hurt him, he knows how well Ron Paul is doing.
Abraham Lincoln's cabinet consisted of people from all varies of opinion. I think its a good idea to have people that can disagree with you, so you are able to look at your opinion. Otherwise you just have people patting you on the back all the time.
Ron Paul has stated quite clearly the climate change is real, and that the best way to handle it is via Property Rights. If I can sue the company down the street for polluting my land and my water, then bam - they can't fucking do it!
I am a big Kucinich guy, I don't hate this idea. Heres what I think. They share a ticket, I like Dennis on top, but even if its the other way, have them act and consult with each other on everything! I think having only one executive is the root of many of our problems... Act kinda like co-presidents. Even if this never flew, I would fully expect both of them to put the other in there cabinet.
I don't mind people comparing them on that level so long as they realize that Paul has denied any desire to pair himself up with Kucinich due to the vast ideological differences.
I'm a pure Ron Paul supporter, and in an ideal world I wouldn't even consider supporting Kucinich because of his socialist views. However, I respect the man and the positions he stands for. Most importantly, Kucinich is honest and actually cares about America. I think a Kucinich/Paul ticket (or Paul/Kucinich) is a great idea. I'd rather have an honest man i disagree with in office than a crook who spews lies on the campaign trail to catapult him/herself into a position of power.
I don't know where you two (and believr77) get off swinging the 'socialist' dead cat around, but do you have the foggiest idea where a little thing called OVERTIME PAY, or how about this - THE WEEKEND came from?
"Needs two wings to fly," huh? Does Dennis even listen to one of the people donating her time and her cred to this guy (ani)? I knew he gave me the heebie-jeebies for a reason. And I'm an American people. Ok so I'm undecided again.
Kucinich has a lot of similar positions as Ron Paul when it comes to the Iraq war, the Federal Reserve, pulling out of NAFTA and the WTO, saving capitalism, free markets, and tearing up The Patriot Act. Where Kucinich differs from Ron Paul is on issues such as ending Social Security, TANF, food stamps, housing vouchers, Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs. Dennis Kucinich does not support abolishing the IRS and he is widley considered a 2nd amendment traitor.
yeah, but the important thing to remember is that RP has acknowledged that for the time being we NEED all those things (SS, food stamps, et al) because people have become dependent on them and we need to slowly wean ourselves off them, not kick people out on the street. Also, I think Kucinich would agree that in an ideal society we'd be trying to get as many people off government handouts as possible.
There is nothing wrong with making certain socialized aspects part of the american system. Example, in canada they have something called 'tenants rights' which protects people from the whims of landlords, especially the 'slum lord' types who take advantage of so many people and who basically extort money from people regularly. What they do would be considered punishable severely by law in the canadian system. Just one of many examples socialized aspects would make america a better place.
Maybe a socialized democracy is what we need, something similar to the canadian system. What we currently have in america is a capitalistic monopoly that lacks compassion, fairness and balance of any kind and it needs some checks and balances. That is why I think we need to take a serious look at many aspects of canada's socialized democracy, and learn from it. They are a much more peaceful society, with less murder, less violence, better overall health and happiness.
I think Kucinich might make a good running mate for Ron Paul... and Mike Gravel would be an excellent appointee for one of the major positions as well.
HR3835 needed to be implemented before HR333 btw.. check it out to understand why.
Yay! Kucinich not only listens to the american people, but he's doing what we've all been thinking and hoping. God bless him, thanx erkd1 for the video
I really wish Kucinich was the president. Obama is just another right wing millionaire working in the interest of corporations.

Hooray for parliamentary democracy, a system so efficient that it even manages to marginalise people as moderate as Paul and Kucinich.

Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul will appear together on Bill Moyers
Journal on PBS this Friday, January 4 at 6 pm Pacific Time. Check local listings. Moyers will ask them about being shut out of debates and other
topics--Paul by FOX News in NH and possibly by ABC and Dennis in several
events in Iowa--the Des Moines Register debate, most notably.
