I've researched both EEEpc and the Acer Aspire one. And my birthday is tomorrow, and i'm turning 16. I was set on buying a EEEpc, but the prices are continually increasing or it is sold out everywhere. And since, the Acer and EEEpc are closely related in the software I am going to get the acer aspire one with the 160 gb Hdd, 1gb RAM, 1.62 GHz and the ATOM processor. Plus, I like the blue.

I prefer Macs and the Linux on this Machine rather than windows. But I use all three of them daily. The laptop is pretty speedy for what its meant to do (light web browsing and word processing) It has an 8gb flash harddrive with 1gb of ram.
