@Funkystumpy247 dont be silly, the rover v8's were hugely under powered, my 4L chim ( same engines as griffs) is 220bhp (officially was supposed to be 240)and thats a good one, the 5L's barely put out 280, i do know this cos dulfords in devon are tvr experts, the simple fact is, TVR hugely exaggerated their figures, on paper the cerbs have 380hp for the 4.2 and 420hp for the 4.5, even if that is exaggerated, its enough to destroy a griff
On paper or on tarmac, the cerb is quicker. 380 horses? Must have some proper mods then? Stock Griffs barely have 300 hp.
Anyway, I agree, beautiful cars. And HELL OF A TIME!! 11.9 is astonishing. Is that cerb stock?

?? On paper the Cerb will always have the Griff licked. The Cerb was running 410bhp v around 380 for the Griff.

That can't be a stock Cerb... On paper the Grifth should of destroyed it...
Eather way they are both beautiful cars... and TVR rocks my socks :)
