It seems to me that there is something wrong in this country when we see folks continue to vote their power away and accept the duds who are guaranteed to continue doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. Make Congress Hear You! America, do not give your vote away. Make Presidential Candidates earn your vote. How? 1) Republicans/Democrats need competition for our votes; dissolve the 2 party control & consider third party candidates. 2) Notify, Presidential Candidates their promises & words will not win votes. Make them win your vote, by standing "Today," before Nancy Pelosi, Congress & the Senate to demand the will of the people be heard. Impeach Bush now. Start removing troops thereafter.

I agree with jack21rabbit. The National Initiative is a natural extension to the constitution, that should be enacted by any country claiming to be a democracy, as long as there are technological means to make direct voting feasible. Today, with the advent of the internet and mass communication, the technological means are present.

Our represenative government has been blowing it, and we all know it. That means that we can do better.

We need more access to being a part of the process of lawmaking.
