I seem to remember someone doing a version of this, except instead of the Imperial Dalek mothership, a new series style saucer was used. Anyone remember who did it?

Nice one! Good twist on the title sequence.

The only thing I can think of is - if this story were to be a two-parter (45-minute episodes), they'd hold off on Terry Molloy's name until the credits of part 2 (whether or not they'd use the Roy Tremolly pseudonym at all is another guess).
