As I've grown I've realized that the traumas that I experienced as a child took place entirely in my mind...everything we percieve is a construct of our brain. Is there any real out there or any real other? Or is it just eternal being vibrating and sensing it's own vibrations? Forgetting and remembering itself? The more I get closer to this truth... the more I realize that to talk or not to talk is the same because it is only talking to my true self.
Isn't that which identifies the me as a child, a youth and an old man the Ego that is threaded together by memory? If that is the Awareness that is never born, then you would identify your self with everything. But instead, you identify with the person in the photo.
Hi Burt, im spanish guy and i found your videos by chance i would to ask u : my dificulty is to see myself, my reality without judging...i try to do that but i think that my tries of not judging are also judgements...is like walk in circles...i dont know whats the point i wanted to ask, because i dont think that ask for advice in these kind of cuestion is a healthy thing, i mean that may be is like avoid our responabilty...may be the cuestion is ¿how can i go out of these circle of the ego?
I will do this. I was really frustrated when I wrote that comment, trying so hard getting nowhere, but something funny happened. I was thinking sarcastically that the mind is like the opposite of enlightenment, like the yin to its yang. What I was doing was trying to find something to hold onto in my thoughts. I'd constantly feel the need that something had to be done, so I sat down, and anytime a thought came, I decided to do the opposite, literally nothing. And now I feel better.
What do you mean when you say it has samsara. I know what the word means (Kirk Hammett mentioned it in a Metallica documentary haha) but I'm not exactly sure what you're saying.
Ah, Samsara is the Buddhist terminology for a free roving uncontrolled mind that is not present in the here and now for it's owner. It is not where the body is but wandering around in space and time.
I see what you're saying. I'm sitting here, always being, but my thoughts wander on their own, and my awareness is caught up in them so much so that being seems to be secondary to thinking, which is obviously opposite to the truth right?
Being and feeling the felt presence of experience, rather than being distracted by the minds thoughts. Just let them go as fast as they come.
Feel more, think less or at least don't attach to the thoughts, let them pass, don't ruminate on them. Consciousness is an energy, whatever it's focused on it builds!
It's a balancing act and finding the beat of your own drummer.
@Fishpigg 'Nothing' is by its nature infinite because it leaves space for all possibilities. Being nothing (having no self identification or 'ego') makes room for eveything.

No burt I didn't notice that because I CAN NEVER STOP FOCUSING ON ONE THING AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Then focus your mind on you breathing from about one and a half inches below your navel and about one and a half inches in.
Don't breath be breathed.
Focus and listen beyond your ears and be aware of your total presence by feeling it.
Good Luck.

Excellent!
I'll try and be to the point.
You can either think or not think.
When we think, thoughts stimulate either positive or negative emotions.
QED The only way to avoid negative emotions is to not think.
It's like training a puppy to sit and only move at your command. The mind will wander, the trick is noticing it has, Samsara.
Like anything it takes practice and as repetition is the mother of skill we become accomplished. Nirvana
Peace of mind is exactly that.
Just being, unquestioningly.

I have a video that might help hopefully.

The point of true spirituality is knowing beyond a doubt. Find out for yourself by doing as suggested in the clip.
