nowadays the comercial with the little girl would've been considered "child porn". i miss the less overprotective 90s era. now we have to deal with today's "if soccermoms don't approve, it's innapropreate" bull****. rip 90's era :'(
Is Clothestime out of business? With ads like that, I'm not surprised.
Replace "fax" with "e-mail", and I say that the AT&T commercial is pretty much accurate, right down to the guy's iPad (though they don't come with styluses these days).
It seems like crawling through the car was a lot more trouble than simply walking around the back of the car...or even hopping over the bumper.
Wouldn't the cable ad be more effective on a broadcast channel?
I so remember the reggae choir from the Life Savers commercials when I was a kid. And, I was completely unaware, until just a few minutes ago, that At&T pretty much "predicted the future" for technology.

wow, remember those 1-800-collect commercials? now everyone has cell-phones, and i bet kids don't even know what "Calling collect" even means. interesting.
All these commercials just SCREAM 1994, although we would get GPS (but not all the stuff Cable TV promised), and even Gary Büsey (said the Scandindavian way!)
The "sending a fax on a beach" one is a bit of a stretch. Though I've personally never tried to pick up wireless internet at the beach, so who knows.
Also, a lot of their predictions of the future during the 90's involve video phones, which are strangely absent from this commercial but are featured in a commercial in the previous volume.
lol,, yeh well if you stay at a resort with its own beach then they usualy do have wifi,,, and lol is it sad that did actually watch all the other AT&T ads
The great Don LaFontaine for Bud Ice. Bud Ice was hella nasty.

The original was taken down by Viacom about a year ago along with 90's Vol. 2. I reposted them eventually.
A few months ago I disputed these violations and won, and restoring the original lower quality versions, but I decided to keep the HQ reposts instead.

Sebastiangirl27 2 years ago 2
I'm 24, and I've always known about Zima.
I really loved how early to mid 90s commercials were so influenced by jazz and r&b. They were always art-sy in some way.
Too bad today's commercials suck.

It's hard to believe I remember almost all of these commercials. It's just it's been so long since I've seen them.
And, wow, I never realized that was Denise Richards in those "Secret" commercials. I think she was only 21 in those commercials.
And, what happened to Clothestime. I guess they're out of business now.
