Replace "fax" with "e-mail", and I say that the AT&T commercial is pretty much accurate, right down to the guy's iPad (though they don't come with styluses these days).

It seems like crawling through the car was a lot more trouble than simply walking around the back of the car...or even hopping over the bumper.

Wouldn't the cable ad be more effective on a broadcast channel?

The "sending a fax on a beach" one is a bit of a stretch. Though I've personally never tried to pick up wireless internet at the beach, so who knows.

Also, a lot of their predictions of the future during the 90's involve video phones, which are strangely absent from this commercial but are featured in a commercial in the previous volume.
