I have been "called" by Judaism since I was 8 (holy wow that was almost 20 years ago!) and in recent times have really committed to going through my conversion, but I've got some serious concerns on that front.  For one, my extreme agoraphobia, the fact that I live in the south and we've only one synagogue in my entire town, and the fact that I'm a nice little brown (Latino & Irish) girl that might not fit into the blonde hair crew at my local synagogue. Is conversion online at all possible? Al

What have u learned about "black jews"? Can a african american gentile become jewish?

@KrisKalik of course! there are black jews, asian jews, hispanic jews...anyone can be jewish. jewish isn't a racial term, it's a peoplehood. some of us are born into it, and some of us are adopted by it :-)
