If you can and have the ability to play it, get the Saturn of PS1 version of Earthworm Jim 2. Better music, backgrounds, and all around the best version of the game.

The grannys were the hardest part of the level...It took me a couple of days to get the timing down (I was a first-timer on the SNES)

When I looked screenshots for Saturn 1st level I thought What the Heck, it's like the SNES version. But when I tried it I understood it was best version of EWJ 2. Compared to PSX Saturn has a bit different background in 1st level (4 layers of parallax scrolling instead of 3).

Saturn was awesome and seriously underrated, I agree. It was much better than all the other 32-bit consoles out there! One question though, can you play Sega CD on a Saturn?

In a twisted way I like the Genesis version even more than this one. I think the gameplay in the Genesis version feels just a tad bit tighter. But the graphics in the saturn version are very nice.

Well, over in Japan, Saturn was very sucessful and stood strong. We should follow what Japanese people like, cause most of the time it is the better choice. It is the reason why very few Japanese people own XBOX 360, but instead own more PS3's and Wii's.
