Robert Stack was a great host for this excellent show. Stack also played Eliot Ness in the TV show " The Untouchables " which coincidentally had one episode called " The Dutch Schultz Story " if you like gangster stories it's worth watching but it is more fictionally based than Unsolved Mysteries.
the line between "total badass" and "true piece of shit" is a fine one, and I think we can all agree that The Dutchman falls on the side of "total badass"

They got the facts all wrong.
1) Dutch never mentioned once in his death bed soliloquy that he wanted to be taken back to the country to retrieve his buried strong box.
2)The Dutchman was the first one shot while in the men's room, as a precaution, as the killers entered the palace chop house with guns blazing.
3) No one ever called Dutch Schultz "Arthur" to his face except Joey Noe, his childhood best friend.
