  • Lebanon Valley in upstate New York - east of Albany - late 60s, early 70s - Chi Town Hustler, Ramchargers, Jungle Jim (with Pam), Candies and Hughes, Gene Snow, Blue Max, Eastern Raider, The Snake, The Mongoose, etc., etc., etc - 8 car shows - some on weeknights - my cousins and I were in our mid-teens - my uncle and my Dad would bring us - I saw a supercharger explosion at the 1000 foot mark one night that blew the body to the top of the telephone poles!

  • I remember back in the late 70's seeing the Chi-Town Hustler run at Union Grove Ill Maybe I am having a selective memory thing but I seem to remember the half-track burnouts being especially smokier than all others...The burnout here seems a bit less than I remember...Of course we are talking about the memory of a 10 year old! Good to see the car still running!

  • i saw that car,ahh it was awsome!

  • I remember back in the day, late 60's and early 70's... Funny Cars Racing at Detroit Dragway (Sibley at Dix roads). Ramchargers, Connie Kalitta, Terry Hedrick, Roger Lindamood, the list goes on and on. Great memories. Those were the days of Funny Cars.
