well I worked for a college and its about 40 miles round trip from home to work and then I like going for a ride after work or lunch ...so the miles add up .....what does it matter lol
The guys at Scootover are great....but they do not sell Vespa. I got my Vespa GTS 250ie at Renaissance on Speedway. Try not to buy your vespa there .....look to the new harley davidson / Vespa of Marana off I-10. Or drive up to Phx in Scottdale. If you need more info drop me a line anytime.

Now I have had some work done on my girl but only a new racing CVT. im not as fast on the top end now but im way faster off the the line and thats what I wanted. Good video. I'm moving to tempe for school and I want to get a Vespa so I don't have to drive a car around. I wonder if it's worth the $6000+? How's it in comparison to a piaggio bv250 or Suzuki Burgman? I'm also a short rider, is the seat high on the Vespa?
You need to ride the Vespa GTS 250ie. I know people who are short that do not like the feel of the seat height. As for the BV250 same bike different look I like the Vespa better. I would not buy a BV250 But I would buy a BV500. Burgman make you look old and there kinda not cool but thats me. I would ride all of them and don't forget other scooters. Test ride test ride test ride. OHHH please do not buy a GT200 they suck, sorry but they do! Well drop me a line anytime if you want to know more.
Well I got my GTS just for that. I now drive a work van and never get to ride my Vespa but it was a good buy now with gas over 4 per gl. all I see everyday is more and more scooters and bike I love it. Get a GTS or the new Vespa 300 and you will love it. It will cost u but vespa is not crap. Its expensive do-do lol

I have never seen a vespa for rent. I know the cost for a vespa is kinda high for them to rent them out. Well I take my Vespa GTS250 on the highway all the time. The GTS comes in at 333 pounds with a rider you can hold your own on the highway ....thanks for the post Later

I'm curious - how did you mount the camera to the scoot? It's super stable - I used a RAM mount on the mirror stalk and it bounces all over the place.

hows this thing handle with higher speeds, i'm thinking about getting one, i love vespas. a lot of the driving would be around town but there are also a lot of areas where'd i'd like to take it that would be in the 45-65 mph range, can it hack it pretty well?

One: How much are you going to ride it? In Ten months I have put over 10,ooo miles on my scooter. Two: How much money do you have to spend on oil changes and tune ups? In the last ten months I have spent around $700.00 to keep my warranty up. One year as many miles as you want. Most warranty stuff runs around $200.oo per visit. It can add up if you put a lot of mile on your scoot.
Three: Yes you can get on the highway. Is it safe? That's up to you. I get on the highway all the time and love it. Four: Cost you will pay close to $7000.00 more if you want a wind screen "A MUST" floor pan and other things.
My GTS takes me all over Tucson AZ. This town is kinda flat but very spared out all over the place. I ride to work everyday on my Vespa, I got her just over four months ago and have put about 4700 miles on her. Great ride and great scooter. Sad to say this is my first scooter and first bike.
