Ha ha HA - Jocobo81 - what CRACKs me up Jocobo81 is that (NOT THIS ONE) but one of my videos has been viewed by many BWCA employees as the "epitome of the general public's trip to the BWCA" so not only do these employees NOT hate my videos - THEY have made it mandatory viewing for the employees.... ha ha ha
Wow, this video is awful. It's guys like you who ruin the BWCA experience. you buy a glass bottle of jag without explaining that you cannot bring glass in, you get drunk on portages, and your plans are disastrous (really?? no permit?) - I am surprised you survived at all. A bunch of hillbilly idiots.
I bet next time you will bring a small foldable net. A fish grabber is a good idea too. Much better to take the hooks out before you bring the fish into the canoe. Also most importantly - before trying to take your hooks out - open the bail on the reel to remove the tension. Otherwise you have the perfect spring loaded trap . I will not go near a fish until I release the bail. Like you I learned the hard way.
awesom video, thanks for sharing your trip... If I may give my 2 cents... next time you might want to bring a small fishing net...lol.lol I was rolling on the floor when you lost thoes fish great stuff lol
hey man u got enough booze to make that moose and its baby pass out haha good job with the video! i make it a priority to go to the bwca every summer. codygroen13 is part of the group too and this next summer will be my 6th trip. but i like what u did with the video; i might wanna do one like this too. we usually start out in Fall Lake which i believe is nearby ur area. i noticed you ran across an old logging cabbin. have you run across alot cool areas like that in the past?
Hey man, this video is inspiring. Wanna go to the BWCA right now. even thou its october ha. I go to the BWCA with a group of friends each year and this vid is crazy cool. We video tap our trip but definitly not as good as yourself. How do you keep your camera dry? Any other tips you thought up after years of experience. we're just on our 3rd trip this coming summer so ya, inexperienced. Wanna see our video seach, BWCAX-treme. Peace dude.
This video is awesome.... How do you keep your battery charges in the BWCA???? do u bring multiple batterys??? THis video makes me want to bring a video camera...
Another awsome video Steve. You have a real talent for documentary film making. Thanks for posting your BWCA films. They make me feel as if I am "one of the guys" along for the trip. How about a shot of that Jag man?
I have watched this video many times. I have been to the places shown in the Video.(tuscarora lake, Crooked lake Etc.) I go up to the boundary waters every year with a very similar group of people. It is allways enjoying to watch this. good work! great editing and camerawork.
That is very cool. One of my friends that I go up to the BWCAW with shoots "Jack's big show" for Noggin. ( I dont know if you have ever seen it or not.) He uses Final cut, and has been slowly showing me how to use it.
I went to Film school in Chicago years ago, but ended up working in Theater. (I'm mostly a Gaffer, the rest is Jack of all trades)
I hope to document one of my trips one of these years. In the meantime keep up the good work!
