@kkkT25 i kind of have to agree with this till a certain extended, my k4 1K gixxer was stolen last year so i bought a cheap 636 05 just like the one on the video and it put a spanking on any 600 out there and 750s was't catching up till 4th, ones i went with -1 in the front 750s didn't keep up. had to sell it due to them shutting off on you out of no where and living you stranded all the time. its an electrical gremlin they all have.
@Markitos203 never heard of that problem mate ive had an 03 636 and an 05 and currently an 06 636 and they have all been 100% reliable we have 4 in our group and no probs yet did it happen many times ?
@tervorj you guys been lucky, i'm not sure the % of them with the problem. google 05-06 636 hesitation problem or stalling you gonna find a 25+ pages of people with this problem. They start bucking back & forth like wild horses then die, you have to sit on the side of the road till it cools a bit just so you can stall a few more miles ahead. some say the ecu's get overheated some come up with crank sensor error. dealers do't know what the problem is either, they all do it again after "fixed"
@tervorj its got to the point that i was only able to ride for half an hour. after hearing people thinking it was the ecu overheating i came up with a relocation how to and manage to fix it for a few then my riding time was getting shorter and shorter till i gave up. dealers can't fix them because most of show no fi light
@Markitos203 cheers for that im shocked could it be a difference in fuel in different countries ,how can a manufacturer not know how to rectifiy what could be a potential fatal problem, will have a look on that google page cheers.
@tervorj dealers have no time to pay an employee X amount per hour to ride around town till the bike starts acting up. Its a waste of money and a liability issue. The main issue is that most of them with the problem show no code, so the dealers don't know were to start. People just start tossing money at the problem till its fix, changing all sensor, wiring harness and ecu. From m own experience i do think the ecu gets overheated you would have to relocated to a well vented place.
@Markitos203 where is it located and can i put some heat sheild or heat foil round it to help keep it cool and in the uk its not as hot where are you in the world
look at 1:20 that beautiful bike!!!
the gixxer is too better
