i work there and yeah many people complain about it not looking like the picture, but then again theres people who actually say they want it to look like the picture, and the cooks just do it cuz its funny to actually take the time to fix the pickles and everything, and the commercials always show super sized tomatoes and pickles and all that stuff.

Because they use shredded lettuce, and that is what we see most in the pics, well mcd has that one under control with the BM.. And a BM it is!

for example i use to get jumbo jacks with cheese for a dollar fifty at one restaurant(which had a plaque to the side of a register claiming to be privately owned) and get them for about a dollar eighty at another one.

Carls junior and hardees actually have burgers where i can taste the beef by itself and not throwup. They also have buttery buns and thicker, bigger pieces of cheese. McDonalds has Mac Sauce and mayo.

I went to carls Jr with some friends yesterday and got thsi burger, and after about half of it my stomach started hurting like crazy! Plus the retraunt looked super dirty and disgusting!

At least Mc Donalds has good food and a clen restraunt. Plus they don't have to tell everyone who bd their competitors are in order to get customers.

Couple questions...

1. How is it not angus if it's an Angus Burger?

2. They DID buy new thingys to make them if they're not lying...

1. mcds angus burgers are 100% angus. but they aren't 100% BLACK angus... so carls is pulling a fast one there.

2. mcds spent tens of thousands per store buying new grills to cook the burgers fresh (carls has their pre-half-cooked, and heat them on order)

3. same price, sure... the base model of carl's SDB is $3.99, but if you get one with stuff on it, you make it up to $5.50. all of mcds are $3.99.

so basically, this whole commercial is based on half-truths and deception.

When they came out with it many years ago, a restaurant like Fridays would sell a burger for about $6. Those day s are long gone. I think it's next to impossible to find a burger much under $9 these days at sit down restaurants.
