  • holy shit that was a great landing i didnt even noticed you guys touched down untill i saw the spoilers come up

  • Awesome videos! I love them! I am also an airplane maniac! I've rated 5 stars, subscribed, added you as friend and enjoyed your videos! Please subscribe back!

  • smooth landing!!!!

  • To dylanhelmer, info about procedures sounds interesting, could you tell me where to find this information ?

    Thanks in advance.

  • @emt2536 most of the info ive gotten is from other pilots i have met. I fly out of KPHX alot and get to talk to some pilots here and there. and ive been told they do use noise abatement at alot of airports past 8pm.

  • Great Video!

  • yea the reversers arent used much at night because of noise abatement they come in high and fast to keep noise down and slam on brakes and bring up spoliers

  • What are you talking about, "high and fast"? That can lead to overshooting the runway, if you come in high and fast you would definitely use reverse thrust, and "slam[ing] on the brakes" and not using reverse thrust would most likely lead to overheating the breaks which can set the plane on fire if it is severe enough. In a jet you always use reverse thrust, you come in too fast to just use the just the breaks without serious consequences for the airplane and the following flight aboard it.

  • @737Pilot122 Well i know while i was in flight school all my instructors told me that all jets at night time come in high and fast. not FUCKING FAST. but faster then usual. thats wont lead to overshooting or missed approach.

  • almost every time a plane lands they use the reversers even at night they most likely only use them at Idle instead of using full reverse thrust

  • Nice. 5 stars!!

  • best landing ever!!!!!

  • That was the smoothest landing I've ever seen on jetblue or any airline

  • air canada does better! but this was great

  • I've flown with both, and I would have to dissagree (landing wise), but yeah that was a great landing.

  • those intakes are revers thrusters they help slow the plane down on the run way. by the way nice vid

  • What were those intakes that opened on the engines during landing? And does the entire

A320 fleet use them, cuz i don't recall seeing intakes open on every jetBlue flight that i've been on.

  • its Called Reverse Thrust It helps slow the plane Down

  • Pretty much every jet has them, but pilots dont use them sometimes, because 1) its loud, and 2) sometimes they dont need them on longer runways, like the ones at JFK

  • @N605JB True, but they sound awesome! ^_^

  • cool

  • if a plane go around that means that a plane is arriving or departing at the airport right?????

    PLS.REPLY

  • that means that the plane was about to land when something happened on the plane or on the runway, and they couldn't land, so they pull up, and go around to try to land again.

  • Yes and it is very horrible I can tell you!

We had to do it in Kreta. All people have already clapped and then...that was hard^^

  • Nice, smooth landing. You couldn't tape the go-around? And do you have any idea why the pilots executed the go-around?

  • I have the video, do you want me to put it up. It isn't that great. We went around because of "traffic", but we didn't land/attempt to land on the same runways.

  • Wow.. trafic...

You sure it wasn't cuz they were going too fast or something >_> Now, if there was a plane on the same runway, that's a whole different story.

And sure, upload it if it isn't too much trouble =)
