I dont know if penguins feel this way, or if they even notice their captivity, but if they do, then what does the length of a life mean if there is no quality to it. If your life was all monotony and unhappiness, would they rather be in captivity or the wild? The question is would the penguins rather live a 40 year life of boredom or a 12 year life of naturality and thrills. I would choose the 12 year life.
