hi, i dont know if you still check your comments, but i recently built a tesla coil myself, and even though it lights up a bulb, i cant see any visible electrical arcs, even when done at night, do you know why this happens?
would a sstc run on just 12v in the primary on a resonant square wave? im talking about a tesla coil not a fly back or ignition commonly associated with the tc . thanks for any reply.

@beccapooley It needs moar power! Or maybe a bit of tuning. If it can light up a bulb, that proves that it basically works.
