Although the Byzantines and Armenians had much in common they were certainly not always friends. In fact it was Byzantine aggression during the 11th century that saw Armenia reduced in military power and internal leadership, just at the time when the Turkish invasions started.

Perhaps U do not understand the way cultures influence each other. For example, Greeks modified the Phoenician alphabet. That's not "stealing culture" it just the way cultures influence one another. The Byzantine Empire didn't want to exterminate the Armenians, they wanted to include the land to their borders. The Armenians have made a slight abbreviation from Ordodoxy. We Greeks and the Armenians wouldn't have been conquered by the Turks if they had not abbreviated.
Personally, as a Greek, have a strong feeling of friendship for the Armenian nation. I would exist my friends.
