Not really on topic...and not to take anything away from the kids.....but it kind of bothers me that most of these teams are select/traveling teams and not really what used to be local All-Star Teams, formed at the end of the season from the local Little League. Now they pick the best kids from the county or region (sometimes an hour a way) when they are 8, hire a professional coaching staff, and practice together for years.....but I do realize that it has made for much better baseball....
