Haruka was annoying imo(though I was watching the english dub).Mitsuki is a helluva lot better imo.I felt so sad for her when Takayuki treated her bad.I mean cmon,she gave up everything for him and helped him through very tough times yet he still acted like an asshole and treated her horribly.I know its understandable considering his mental condition but she still deserved alot better.Im glad in the end he realized this and decide to stay with Mitsuki.Mitsuki deserved it after all the abuse.

@patjmnz10 I wish! No, he ends up with Mitsuki in the end. There is however, an OVA released for the HarukaxTakayuki fans, called Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien ~Second Season~, in which they do end up together. I personally liked the anime ending better though, even though I don't really like Mitsuki.

Just finished the series and i absolutely loved it!!! Wish I hadn't waited so long to see it. I am sorry Haruka but like in life it just wasn't meant to be (i'm not counting the OVA, it is pure BS made only for Haruka fans years later).

Mitsuki went thru so much, her best friend laying comatose, taka completely falling apart and her swimming future dissolving in front of her, she deserved to have her love. Mitsuki forever!!! side note, great vid

Come on you can't blame anyone except the stupid driver who hit Haruka. Mitsuki was trying to help out Takayuki. Which if im right she did.

But anyway its a great anime. And my faveorite except for Grenadier.

but it was Mitsuki that made him late going to get Haruka..*remember* Mitsuki knew they were going on a date but kept injecting herself to steal time with him..if she hadn`t he would have show up on time to pick up Haruka,and the accident may still have happen,but without Haruka being in it.

Ahh yes but also remember that Takayuki was running late in the first place. Also that's why Mitsuki was so determined to make Takayuki happy. Even if they didnt show it . You could see at some points that she felt the one to blame.

But fair point. But it's my fave Drama (kind of) anime. 2nd's shuffle.

no, from d start haruka was d 1 who fell in love with taki at d 1st sight. she told mitsuki (bestfriend) and she insists to help her 2 get close 2 taki as haruka is shy/timid girl. at that time mitsuki already go out with her bf. since mitsuki is in same class with take n easy going person so she able 2 get close 2 takiNfriend. along the way she also fallen 2 taki but as she promised haruka 2 root 4 her, she arranged haruka 2 confess 2 taki on the hill. that's what really happened.
