  • love the playing man, great demo

  • Guitars Boeing

  • This thing is awesome :)

  • Which power section do you prefer for the MAK4, the TITAN's or the Splawn's?

  • @Jebakul Kind of a toss up. The titan with the contour control can shift the midrange around so you get a certain degree of extra control with that and if you buy the 200 watt titan, you get 200 watts. The nitro on the other hand has the resonance control that affects the power section to make it spongier or punchier.

  • Nice video. I think you need some more mics though. LOL ;-)

  • is it footswitchable? i assuming,yes?

  • @bullpentherapy yeah it comes with a 4 button switch that connects with an ethernet cable (which is cool cause they're cheap and plentiful and lock into place) but it also has 4 separate channel switch jacks on the back if you want to use some sort of rack switcher system (like the ground control GCX I believe)

  • even the cleam channel gets dirty as hell

  • great tone here

  • Haha, "no jibba jabba." Great review, great tone!

  • yeah the mako is a really articulate preamp but also factoring in is that the nitro has one of the cleanest and most articulate and uncompressed power sections I've ever heard. I can't wait to hear what sort of power amp andrew at mako cooks up to go with the mak.

  • @FastRedPonyCar That painkiller in the bridge is contributing in that area too i would say. I have one in my ESP, along with a nailbomb in the neck. It's funny because when i first got them i loved the painkiller and thought the nailbomb was kinda "meh" , but now im starting to get sick of the painkiller and the nailbomb continues to grow on me. Im thinking about trying out an aftermath, that snarl the painkiller has bugs me sometimes.

  • @RyanAbbott1000 to my ears, the nailbomb is a thicker/smoother and slightly more modern sounding pickup where as the PK while still modern has a lot more of the old school PAF type thing going on, which I think works better in the JP6 than the NB did. NB did great in the carvin though.

  • really, really articulate sounding.
