The funniest switchover is probably The Nickelodeon GAS to The N switchover. It isn't a shutoff, but one second, a kid is skateboarding, next second, nothing, and the next second, The N.

The station probably did that. Faded out the cat, then faded in the snow, then shut off the analog signal.
