The original Arabs, like the Egyptians, Berbers, Mesopotamian's, Elamites/Persians: had Black skin, they did not need the Head to Toe protection from the Sun, that the Thawb affords. @jamal7israel The egyptians are mixed today genetically as they were in antiquity. There was no mass exodus of egyptians into sub-saharan africa as a result of the arab invasion. Just use your logic for a second and consider that one of the most populous and fertile regions of the near east absorbed the comparatively smaller arab invasion force just as they had the previous invasions, not unlike China which absorbed waves of invaders over the milllenia.
