As somebody who is miles away from any(!) republican candidate, and most democrats, I really only see Jon Huntsman as a serious enough politician in terms of being elected. I mean, Ron Paul is serious enough, but his politics aren't realistic!

Ron Paul is too extreme in terms of reducing government! But I prefer him over most Republicans. At least he's not a homophobic applause-line machine like most of them!

I first learned about Dr. Ron Paul from watching Jon Stewart point out that he was being completely and blatantly ignored by the media and Fox News. That piqued my interest to why that would be the case. What are they not liking, or what are they trying to conceal. I have started reading up more about him and his campaign online which eventually got me to be a supporter. All I ask if for you to do the same, don’t take my word for it, look it up yourself. That invested time is well worth it.

@mikemisho Do you remember how Stewart night after night talked about how the GOP treated the families of 911 firefighters about a year or so ago? He single handedly made the GOP back down, when noone anywhere in the news/media talked about such glaringly nasty politics, it was insane & as reps of the ppl it didn't make sense at all! Telling

Ron Paul is the most qualified candidate. He is smart (he has a doctorate degree for goodness sake), he is politically experienced without being corrupted (12 term congressman who has been consistent over the last 30 years), he has been studying politics since the 60’s (which other candidate comes close to this), he has integrity (unlike the others he does not accept money from rich special groups, only regular folks like you and I, so there is no I-scratch-your-back-you-scratch-mine crap)

Ron Paul's 5 dept's to phase out through attrition = 1) Energy; 2) Housing and Urban Development; 3) Commerce; 4) Interior and 5) Education. Rick Perry's 3 dept's to cut = 1) Commerce; 2) Education and 3) OOPS. Anyone who isn't registered Republican for the primaries starting in January should do so quick.
