@SeverinMk you could cover unique weapons (alien blaster), certain perks (Implant GRX especially) , tough enemies (legendary deathclaw) , or a combination of these.

@buzzhorn1 the ammo recharges every time a day passes by. U will only recharge one archemedies II. And I forget what quest u get this in but u have to go to helios one and like activate a computer which will then allow u to rechrge one archemedies per day.

The fan man is ten times better than this. You can fire it more than twice per day, for example. And its just more powerful and has a massive blast radius that kills anything.

Actually I'd call it the worst gun in New Vegas. About half the time it bugs out and doesn't fire. Even when it does work it isn't a long range weapon by any meens (and thus in close range you just blow your legs off), plus it can only be fired once a day - outdoors.
