倆忘煙水裡無論曲同詞都是一流，以前70,80年代的歌真是最美­的，歌詞好有意境，可見當年班填詞人相比而家果班的文學造詣有幾­高班，填詞人來說，我覺得黃霑, 盧國沾, 鄭國江三個是香港填詞人中最高班的，當中盧國沾的更加是一絕！而­「煇黃」當然是絕佳拍檔，為香港創作了許多膾炙人口的經典名曲，­多謝晒！

PS：我係八十後，不過好欣賞煇黃時代的經典金曲！

Translating it would be a great challenge as many concepts in Chinese literature don't exsist in English! @_@

It would take a deep understanding in both languages to communicate the chinese concepts meaningfully into English. But then that's what the good translators do. Different from transliteration which leads to a lot of misunderstanding...

This song is for the TV series which is based on 天龙八部, which is one of the most popular novel in recent 100 years in China/Taiwan/Hongkong/etc. As one of the comments says, the lyric is corresponding to the chapter names of the novel...With so many culture specific links, I don't know how it could be translated properly.
