Man, Capcom has changed for the worst, im really disappointed at capcom this year, first Marvel vs capcom 3 was complete utter trash and second the street fighter 4 remakes. If there's a fighting game you should buy this year, its definitively this online edition and King of Fighter xiii, SNK really put their sweat and blood into that game and its looking to be pretty good

@SegaGuy7 Capcom 3 had a lot of great elements. But I almost cried yesterday after 4 different guys infinite combo me and when I quit, one guy called me a faggot. Like c'mon Capcom. I waited 10 years for this game and theres no way you can break those combos. It's not fair and it's not balanced. It was much harder to do that on Capcom 2, or at least every character wasn't capable of doing that. I miss Capcom vs SNK 2. MVC3 is a good game with too many flaws. MK did a better job IMO.

@earlmccormick88 in my opinion Capcom 3 wasn't even that great, no spectator mode, barely any online options, and the endings weren't all that great either. now capcom is releasing ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 which many fans feel ripped off about. Overall, in my opinion, the marvel vs capcom series doesnt take any skill at all, its too easy to pull off specials as well as combos by simply just pressing x,y,b in order then pressing a to put them up in the air and repeat. the first one was best.

@SegaGuy7 I know all that. That's why I said it has great elements but it's plagued by flaws.

Tatsonoku vs Capcom did better than Marvel vs Capcom 3 in terms of being balanced. I own them both. I believe Capcom 3 takes skill but skill means nothing when someone does an infinite combo on you and there's no way you can break it, such as the Breaker ability in Tatsonoku vs Capcom. Capcom really let me down with MVC3. Hopefully UMVC3 will fix those problems. Im gettin 3rd strike wednesday

@earlmccormick88 The only issue with TVC was the Giant Characters like Lightan just being terrible, they had really bad matchups and up against Tekkaman Blade they couldn't do much to hurt him as he kept grabbing them with his chain. I like Lightan and I liked him being in the game and I like playing low tier characters for a challenge but Lightan was just awful. Also the on;ine wasn't that great with Lag and if people disconect it counts as a loss for both players. :/

@TheBoredomOtaku Well you know, you can't expect much from the wii. Super Smash Bros Brawl is one of the best games I ever played in my life but due too the deficiency of the wii's online, it held it back in my opinion. Way too much lag and that friend code crap is retarded.

What im wondering is if Capcom is going to copy Frank West from TVC and paste him into UMVC3 with a few tweaks, because if that's the case, they could've done that for Megaman Volnutt also

@earlmccormick88 Actually Frank Weest was mean't to be in the MVC3 roster originally but he had bugs during online play so he was cut out from the final roster, since they've had 9 months since MVC3's release now they had plenty of time to fix him.

As for Megaman I'm not too bothered, I still wanted to see fresh faces to the MVC series and not the same ones, sure put the classics in but don't let them fill too many roster spaces, I mean they have 3 darkstalkers and 3 street fighters already.

@TheBoredomOtaku I agree. It's the Megaman fan in me. Seeing all those original faces make it to the game was very pleasing and I was ecstatic to see the new faces . I feel as if Megaman is a huge face in the Capcom franchise so how could he possibly slip away? In any event, I hope they fix up all the issues in MVC3 with UMVC3 to make it a better game because I am really disappointed and frustrated with that game.

@earlmccormick88 Some of the changes are reasonable, X-Factor has been cut down to about 7-12 seconds max with less stat and speed boosting, phoenix got crippled with only being able to do 1 special move in the air now AND a health nerf >_>, Sentinel lost his Rocket punch otg > Hyper Sent Force, Wesker got a damage nerf and teleport recoveries slower. However an odd change is Hulk's standing H now absorbs 3 hits and Ryu now has chargeble Hadokens, Shoryukens, Hypers and has a Denjin mode :/

@TheBoredomOtaku Nice! Pheonix is a cheat when she transform after you kill her because all players do is spam her projectiles and she shoots them very fast and takes ALOT of damage. Spectator Mode so it's very hard to kill her. They need a lot of single player content kinda like what Mortal Kombat did. I think they should give you the option to do 3 on 3 battles. In big lobbies, people should be giving the option to fight who they want instead of waiting in a long ass line.

@earlmccormick88 I hate Phoenix myself like every other player but I find her nerf a little too much, the main issue with her was X-actor Dark Phoenix and with the X-Factor nerf she already becomes less of a threat and being limited to 1 move in the air cripples her keep away tactics and now she has even lower health so she can't risk rushdown so if you think on it maybe only 2 out of 3 of the games changes to her were necessary. If anything buff her health a little but keep her other nerfs.
