Yes, he did. But it was not due to his diet. He re-injured his toe while playing soccer in 1977, it became so infected that doctors suggested amputation. Marley refused, the toe never healed, became cancerous and the cancer spread to his brain, resulting in his death in 1981. :o(

a little of subject lol, but the only meat he ate when he became rasta was fish (if you consider fish as animals). only right b4 he passed he ate beef (which he was against eating) as doctors orders to boost his protein when he had cancer.....which i think the doctors should not have done (idiots) since fish or any other natural source of protein would have been better....especially since his body wasn't used to eating beef.

Sadly, Bob was reported to have done many things he would not have normally done in those last days. His brain was consumed with cancer, at that point, and if the stories are true, its only because he didn't know what he was agreeing to.
