First LP is easily the best record these guys made, which is why I am not surprised they played mainly songs from it. These guys started out in my hometown of Perth, Western Australia. The original drummer, James Baker, plays in an awesome outfit called the Painkillers and is a true gent of Rock n Roll. Original guitarist, Rod Radalj is still here too. All nice guys.

I once had a long conversation with Brad after a gig in Asbury Park NJ, at the Fast Lane. He was by far the coolest rock star I've ever spoken with. Smart, funny cool guy.

I should make him a fuzz box and go to the next show in the area.

Much applause! This video really captured the Gurus live experience fabulously! Anyone who's ever been to a show knows, I think this vid gives a pretty good glimpse to those who haven't... anyone who's never seen them live & has a chance to, you really should. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT! :)
