@zimks Wow! The X-Force was from 2007 (original). The Monster was introduced in late 2008 as a 2009 model bow. The fact that you asked this question is frightening.
@TexasHunter55 Axe is a lot smoother to draw, just not quite as fast as the Omen. If you have plenty of experience with ultra-aggressive quick-valley bows, then stepping up to the Omen would be a blast - the bow is a wicked demon. But it's not for the timid. If you have no experience, then shooting an Omen would be like giving a new driver a ZR1 - bad things could happen (derailments, dry-fires, string slap, control issues, etc.). So if in doubt, definitely go with the Axe.
Ah! I can do that one. The archer's KE formula converts all the units with fps and grains, dispenses with the slug-ft/sec business and gives us a standard answer in good ole' ft-lbs.
KE = mv^2/450240, where m=mass of arrow in grains, and v= velocity of arrow in fps.
@Alphabuck i think the bowmaddness needs more prasie from pse evn though it is just a single cam bow it is so light so smooth and ibo of 332fps it is just as fast as some of the others dual cams i mean they have gold and they wont show it to is full extent i bought a bowmaddness over an xforce could have got either but after shooting i choose the bowmaddness
Not saying not to get it and you might have heard but the omen is a really raw bow still. It goes into the valley really hard and is not very smooth at all. I was going to get one but i got an axe 6 instead and i love it. Its an IBO of 345 so its still fast as hell. Just lettin ya know
@Diederich16 The Omen is a little different thing ... that's the ultra speed bow with a very short brace height at an IBO Speed in the mid-360's. It's not suppose to be smooth or soft in any way. It's the screamer of the line. So it's not a practical bow for most hunters. It's more for the "hair on fire" types.
me and my mother bought new x-forces today she bought the 2008 and i bought the 2009 gx she loves hers and i can say the same for mine thier so sweet shooting smooth forgiving, zero hand shock ive always shot ben person but this is like a new whole level!..........
@boomerblue I was pointing put the fact that everyone says that pse copied Mathews when the monster is the crappy version of an x force

Do the limbs on the X-Force GX 6 say PSE X-Force GX or does it just say PSE X-Force?
bassetthound2008 1 year ago
If you want the PSE X-Force Omen I wouldn't recomend it for beginners

What is the formula for switching F.P.S to M.P.H and vice versa.
bassetthound2008 1 year ago
@bassetthound2008 FPS*3600/5280=MPH

Off the top of my head; I don't understand how the speed transfers into kinetic energy. Are there any ballistic charts on the XForce?
MorfeuV 1 year ago
@MorfeuV KE=1/2MV^2
M=mass of arrow
V=velocity

this is awesome, I'm glad I own a x-force.

@PSEVIDEO I'd be "Blushing " too after being caught red handed copying other companies technology and claiming it as my own "innovation".
