Was really fucked off, had Surgery 2 weeks later thinking it would be a 2 part op,( silicone rod, then 8 weeks later a tendon graft from wrist), luckerly he managed to fix it as it didn't tear, just over srtetched,so took 2mm off it and re joiined....... now i'm nearly 2 weeks into the splint, more scars and new cuts into my palm..
I cut my little finger with a stanley knife in august, no nerve damage, but cut through the tendons, they repaired the main one (fdp) and said the other one that moves the tip was 30% damaged but would heal... 9 weeks down the line I fully recovered.... Then over did it some how and stretched the one that was damaged so over stretched it.
I have had an operation on my ring and little finger because I cut the tendons and nerves with a knife, I have some cool scars but I over stretched my ring finger and I broke the repair,
so I am having another operation later in the year, im having to take a tendon from my left wrist to place in the finger. More scars and painful physiotherapy here I come.
wow , the scar on your middle finger down your hand is identical to mine lol + ive got one the same running down the ring finger .. then some nasty scar on the wrist from it ...never got full movement back and never will , trust me do your physio all the time !
@absoiut85 I had the same surgery, on two fingers, with nerves lacerated as well. See the video on my profile. after 6 weeks I came out of the splint and had great motion.
