WOW!!! I totally loved the dixie - Indiana at the end, I have always wanted to do that to Donna Lee (which of course is just a modal reharmonization of Indiana). you guys are great!

seems a little to put on not much feeling or even expression. It's like they just play the notes not really putting any feeling in the piece(goes for the solos too). the solos weren't built up either that takes a lot away from the solo if you don't build it up to something.

@saske2233 Japanese are soulful people but they run very cool as in cool jazz. I miss Tokyo terribly. Way hipper than New York and London.

lol obviously the begining is not improv... its donna lees chorus.. i know it doesnt sound like an usual solo but thats bebop :D.. and i believe the rest is improv since its not so good xD

Nice. Not too many girl trumpet players out there. It's a very good effort, but if you'd like some commentary, let the solos be more fluid and sound less like they're rehearsed solos (I could tell that was the same solo or at least the same licks that you practiced)

Black people are good at sports, racist comment ? it's completely true, 90% of deffensive f.ball players are black. 90% of asians, or "orientals", have no soul.

U R right. It seems so with many school bands, they learn how to read music, if you learn by ear you learn the soul-fullness too.

Like language , we first learn by ear without worrying about spelling and grammer.

I have heard some white young people singing or playing Blues. It always sounded artificial, maybe they havn't suffered enough. A lot of good music is performed here(NZ) by our Maoris, maybe their parents still sing at their bedside at night.

How is that ethnically specific? 'White young people' can also suffer from drugs. And Miles was born into a well-off middle class family, so any other suffering was quite nominal. You're on pretty shakey ground making general claims about race and musical ability.
