i did this mission completely differently, without firing a shot by waiting till a few hours before dawn, swimming down the river to the north, sneaking into the greenhouse dropping ied's then running out while under sniper fire

and thats why i love this game

Its boring if you just run in with guns blasting. Try to sneak in without being seen, try it in the night vs day. Try killing everyone using fire, try to injure, but not kill the guards, then when their friends come in aid, kill them both! Thats the best.

I agree. If you play it the same all the time, you're ignoring the game's premise. If you try different tactics, times of day etc. you'll have more fun.

Sometimes it is best to just go silent: Dartsnip the guard in the tower and rush with the Mp5 trough the field and make silent kills. Use the M79 at a safe range - and quickly and silent go out. Works great with the scrapyard too. The only disadvantage is that the MP5 due its low damage, high fire rate runs quickly out of ammo.

The civilians ran away from the whole war thing. Be a bit stupid to hang round while people are shooting at eachother all the time. You see them all heading to the planes at the beginning.

Im well and truely pissed off as im 65% through with over 100 diamonds found all weapons unlocked and my game wont load!! :( i got this for the 360 and saved it at that point, next day when i went to load up it just froze on the loading screen!! somehow there's a scratch on my disc but the game hasnt left the machine since i bought it! not a happy man! oh well fallout 3 it is then

Try to download the game on your hard drive that might help or you can go down and get a new copy and if you show you have the game you get for like 10 bucks =)

xbox has this problem where if you change the position of the xbox while you are playing game, then the cd slot will move, causing a scratch. it would cost Microsoft 50 cents to fix it by installing bumpers, and they knew about this even before they started selling it.
