  • How on Earth could you not believe in God when he has given us the entire universe as proof? It's all set up like a computer with spheres that make every single pixel of creation with black holes sucking up objects and backing up their data just like a back up drive. The universe is so precisely programmed, how could it just happen? No computer simply starts wriiting programs and updating itself like the universe does. It's designed by the ultimate user.

  • @WebVManReturns Listen god is used to fill gaps in science, because saying I don't know is to difficult for people.

Plus if you look at the universe it's a chaotic mess, not a precisely programmed thing. It like saying earth is perfect for life when in fact it's not, but that does mean life can't survive.

And saying we are intelligently designed when are "design" is shit, and thats not a joke just compare us to other animals, and you'll see we are in fact of stupid design

  • @WebVManReturns "The universe is so precisely programmed"

It is?!? That might come as some surprise to all the elliptical or receding orbits that most planetary bodies exhibit, and might even shock the hell out of all those chaotic star-demises and galactic collisions. What kind of programming would you call that?

  • I like how the creationist (within tunderf00t's video) needed a dude wearing sunglasses to show how religion is serious business.

  • People shouldn't laugh at creationists, they should ignore them.

  • Thunderf00t is the prophet.

  • Tifa equips Godhand and uses Final Heaven

    IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW

  • Columbus landing on the moon? Wow, he got further off track in his search for the East Indies than I thought! :P

  • Belief in God may well be hard-wired into people. This would explain why people cannot give up belief in religions. From an evolutionary standpoint, our brains have useful functions that could lead to religious belief as a by-product. Among these are advanced agency detection - the tendency to look for who or what caused something ex. a noise (a good thing for primitives not wanting to be eaten. the ability to imagine minds other than our own, and attachment. We are programmed to believe.

  • @pdoylemi People do give up religion everyday. How then do you explain the difference between a person who can shed their beliefs and a person who seemingly can't live without them?

  • I would facepalm that lady unconscious and maybe some sense might slip in...

  • Thanks for pointing out some of the fantastical leaps people make from a simple, innocuous, statement in the bible all up to more modern practices. It opened my mind a bit about how people attempt to rationalize this.

  • Biggest difference between science and religion: When reasonably proven wrong science will admit it and search for the reasons why and how it actually really is. Religion will deny it, kill to mute the accusers or even try to incorporate it by all means ignoring basic logic in the process.

Religion isn't all bad it's the fanatic that make it bad.

  • Eloquent, poignant, funny, insightful and riddled with facts and sources. This is why I love your vids Thunderf00t, thank you for your amazing work battling the evil council of ignorance and fantasy. I guess that makes you the Logic/Reason League? XD

  • damn you thunderf00t for ruining my dream about this girl :((

    xD

    Great vid

  • Who's the chubby dude with the odd sunglasses?

  • 0:36 WTH is that thing??

  • @elitotaku

    What thing

  • 'mentally masturbating' oh Thunderf00t, why you so funny?

  • Why do people laugh at Creationists?

    Because it's fucking silly...

  • "Actually, before you start, let me just, for no reason, pull out this utterly unrelated Ray Comfort track"

Only after 3 or so minutes was I able to stop myself from laughing and finish the vid. Classy.

  • Using logic and reason to inform and/or argue that religious beliefs are wrong is pointless. These peoples beliefs are not based on logic or reason but on faith. This means no logical or rational argument could convince them otherwise. And that, my friends, is why we laugh. What else is there to do?

  • I get used to clicked on the "like this video" button before watching it for a some time now and it never fails me. Great job, Mr. Mason!

  • This video has more views then part 35 and part 37 because there is a hot girl on the thumbnail.

  • me thinks venomfangx should dress like that ninja with glasses who teaches little girls. He'd probably get to score himself a girlfriend who could held take his mind off his current fantasies. Unless of course he was posing with his current boyfriend...

Also, doesn't he know that muslims have been making the same claim he's making in this video. Yes! the qur'an contains even more scientific information than the babble does. It tells of the big bang and the creation of the galaxies by allah.

  • ALTHOUGH I'M A CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN (Baptist), I no longer believe that the Bible teaches eternal torment or suffering. The Bible teaches eternal punishment, but it's not eternal torment. In my popular Internet article, TRADITIONAL DOCTRINE OF HELL EVOLVED FROM GREEK ROOTS, I explain how and why teaching of eternal torment entered early into Christianity and how Scriptures have been misinterpreted and taken out of context to support that teaching. ~Babu G. Ranganathan (B.A. theology/biology)

  • @Mogley52 i love how people just believe in what ever they want and just choose the good things of religion.

  • NATURAL LIMITS TO EVOLUTION: Only evolution within "kinds" is genetically possible (i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.), but not evolution across "kinds" (i.e. from worm to human). How did species survive if their vital tissues, organs, reproductive systems were still evolving? Read my Pravda Internet article: WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS! I discuss: Punctuated Equilibrium, "Junk DNA," genetics, mutations, natural selection, fossils, genetic and biological similarities between species.

  • ALL REAL EVOLUTION ( i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.) in nature is the expression, over time, of already existing genes. Evolution is possible only if there’s information (genes) directing it. Only variations of already existing genes are possible, which means only limited evolution and adaptations are possible. Nature has no ability to invent new genes via random mutations caused by random environmental forces. That’s evolutionary faith, not science. Read my article, WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS!

  • APES ARE QUITE COMFORTABLE IN HOW THEY WALK, just as humans are quite comfortable in how they walk. Even a slight change in the position of a muscle or bone, for either, would be excruciatingly painful and would not be an advantage for survival. There's no hard evidence that humans evolved from ape-like creatures anymore than there's hard evidence that apes evolved from four-legged-pawed dog-like creatures. Read Internet article: MISSING LINKS THAT NEVER WERE.

  • NATURAL SELECTION IS NO BLIND WATCHMAKER because it can only "select" traits, not produce them. If a variation survives, that's called being "selected." Natural selection operates only once there is life and reproduction, not before, so it couldn't have been involved in life's origins. A partially-evolved cell (an oxymoron) would quickly disintegrate. It couldn't wait ("survive") millions of years for chance to complete it and then make it alive! Read: HOW FORENSIC SCIENCE REFUTES ATHEISM

  • THE SCIENCE SUPPORTING CREATION (Google this title to access the site). The site presents a collage of evidences from science supporting creation. Also read my Internet article, ANY LIFE ON MARS CAME FROM EARTH! According to a Newsweek article quoting a NASA scientist, in the Earth's past there was powerful volcanic activity which spewed life-containing dirt and rocks (now meteors) into outer space. Mars may literally have millions of tons of Earth soil.

  • watch?v=FWTQmnrZiyg&feature=player_embedded

    This is the reason...

    Why we laught...

  • you go thunderfoot! i love how u make your points. on the claims of the highly suggestible. u consistantly demonstrate a min lv of research in all your vids; wich inturn demand the observer know or have a basic grasp of the topic at hand. this is the difference b/w an aetheist and a creationist: atheist require to know and prove repeatedly what they claim, an creationnist does not have to anything , about anything at all.

  • 232,531 2/13 9:14 am

  • I wonder why so many scientists believe in Christ then if believing in God is so useless? And why those many people who believe in Christ were the first to begin the nursing profession and began many of the first charities? And those who began prison reform, men like William Wilberforce etc, were they also useless? Indeed Christ has rather inspired man to further his knowledge than made him useless. Do us a favour and take your own head out of your arse. Then perhaps your reasoning will be clear

  • @grahame4647 The only and sole reason for this, is that until in recent history people were still ignorant and belief in God was more popular than ever. They didn't do these things because they thought Christ was real, they did them because they personally wanted to do them. Christ didn't give them knowledge, they just happened to have the knowledge and believe in Christ. Your argument is akin to saying Hitler did what he did because he was a vegetarian.

  • @grahame4647 Also, most scientists don't believe in God. Unless you mean scientists in history in which case the argument is as stupid because that was a time in which God belief was the social norm and often required.

  • @grahame4647 well take this for example if christ were required for these things or had any effect then shouldnt atheists do none of these things? bill gates founder of the world largest charity and founder of microsoft is an atheist. theres no evidence that christ had ANY effect on these peopls decisions.

  • LMFAOOOOOOO do people really believe this??? NO, it is a troll. impossible. ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • What is appalling is that there are schools in the UK that actually allow young people like that girl to leave school believing that rubbish

  • In every arguement between atheist and any religious person the atheist is always the logical one who wins, but the religious person just blocks off the evidence and the facts. It's sad.

  • I feel like I'm trapped on this little rock, (earth),

hurtling through space at 65,000 miles per. hour,

surrounded by delusional lunatics who would rather

see me dead than to express the precarious

reality of the human condition. Great vid.

  • Final fantasy indeed....we'll be consumed by that fantasy if we don't renounce it.

  • 231,247 2/8 10:21

  • i clicked because of tifa

  • dont forget Jules Gabriel Verne predicted the submarine in his science fiction, you'd be amazed how many predictions in sci-fi become reality later, guess this is one of the basis for Scientology

  • 3. You must take this with a pinch of salt because the bible was written a long time ago it was written in a different culture which is greatly different from our own so there thinking would have been greatly different. I, as a christian, accept that the Bible is not the most convincing of texts but the entire idea of a religon is that it's a faith to be believed in and not a fact to be proven.

  • i am personally a christian and i think that this creationist is not showing all of the information in the bible. 1. thousands of years before the world was discovered to be spherical the bible was talking about the world as though it were a sphere or globe. 2. A human has almost identical chemical make up as the average dirt and in the bible it talks about God making humans out of clay of the earth i.e. dirt.

  • @swgic1 it is you, sir, has no idea about your own holy book

    Isaiah 11:12 (King James Version)

And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

now go find a corner in a sphere

  • @swgic1

    Matthew 4

New International Version (NIV) 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.

you can get to as high as outer space and try to point out all countries of the world, it is impossible because earth is sphere

bible is full of such old nonsense stories that it can slap its own face with its own hands, why would you guys defend an indefensible thing such as this

  • I thought VenomFang X was already proven to be trolling people lol

  • Keep up the good work!

  • Job 26:7

He is stretching out the north over the empty place,

    Hanging the earth upon nothing;

  • also good sir, u are using quiet bias information, because the stuff u are rebutting actually dont really matter.

  • i have a question...would u die for a lie?

now Jesus can be 3 things, 1 insane 2 a liar 3 God

u dont hear ppl say hes insane because the stuff his says is full of wisdom

if he was a liar why would he die so painfully holding on to it, further 11 of the 12 disciples did the same, also soon after the caesar actively began to kill christians and, a fact, used their burning bodies to light the streets at night. thousands died, all for a lie? i think not, i think it runs deeper than that

  • @FishTurd69 If hes even real, Jesus did lie.

  • @42lynchmob ...it is historically proved a man named Jesus, that talked about this stuff, exsisted

also just saying Jesus did lie doesnt prove anything, for 1 there is no point dieing for a lie, 11 of the 12 apostles died for the same lie? also 120 ppl witnessed the acension of christ and probably all of them died defending what they thought was a lie?

u my friend should at least approach from a point of logic...which you have clearly not

  • @FishTurd69 Oh, ok, prove it.

  • @42lynchmob prove wat? im not proving anything, im using logic to suggest that there is actually a very high possiblity that Jesus is God. unlike u, ur just saying he's not and thats somehow scientifically justified...wat reasons do u have?

  • @FishTurd69 If that person was a nut, it would be possible that he would die for his lie(which he may not have thought was a lie), look at various smaller cults, their leaders sometimes commit suicide with their followers for their faith. And there have been PLENTY of times when an extremely (somehow) charismatic person has got people to die for him, look to the cults again.

  • @RaveriusMax 1. no one has ever called Jesus a nut, u never see and insane person speak words so wise

    2. cults are bred from man-centered approaches to the bible. ie, when they read it, its like its about them and not God. Thats why they called cults... and i dont think a cult could ever influence the world like Jesus did

  • @FishTurd69 1. Maybe no one TODAY calls him a nut, but people a couple thousand years ago might have called him 'That nut preaching down the road'. 2. While Christianity might not be a cult now, when it began, it could have easily qualified in any of at least 5 of the 6 accepted definitions of a Cult, and possibly even all 6, cannot be sure of the 6th as that would require me to know how people of that time felt, which I do not.

  • @RaveriusMax sorry, this might take 2 replies, i hope your ok with that XD. Matthew chapter 13 verse 54-55.

54 Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed. “Where did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?” they asked. 55 “Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas?

people didnt acknowledge him because their familiarity blinded them.

  • @FishTurd69 That's right, they were "blinded" by the fact that they KNEW Jesus was not divine, because they had lived with him all their lives, and knew all there was to know about him.

If seeing bullshit and calling it thusly is "blindness", then I am most assuredly blind, and you see very well.

  • @TheSmackerlacker ...u misinterpret the verse...

it was because they knew him, they allowed their own concience to say he was orderinary ALTHOUGH they just heard wise words AND saw miraculous powers.

If u read the passage properly it said ,"they were amazed. Where did this man get...." meaning they were surprised to see he could say and do all this. which does not mean "and knew there all there was to know about him"

  • @FishTurd69 If they didn't know him, they wouldn't have been amazed. Let's not forget that this is fiction. What it actually means is completely impossible to know, without asking the author, given that he made it up.

  • @TheSmackerlacker ???

they verse says they knew Him, and they were amazed by the things He said and did but because they thought they knew him they were mislead from the truth.

    and

i dont know how but it is a FACT that a man named Jesus walked this earth and preached these things, this is FACT not because its my faith to say it, but it is agreed among MOST historians and people who research things at this time.

  • @FishTurd69 Don't lie to me. There are no facts to suggest that Jesus existed. The only way to come to that conclusion is by examining the pathetic attempts of the writers of the gospels to retroactively make Jesus match a messianic prophecy that they had misunderstood.

That being said, I do believe that he existed. It's even likely that he performed "miracles", which magicians do daily here in the 21st century.

So far, Jesus has done nothing to impress ME, and that is what matters.

  • @LockemShoto you know...for someone whos has faith in Jesus YOUR PRETTY AGROGANT

    1. im australian, which means red necks r called bogans

    2. im not poor so im not bogan

    3. Christians are different from catholics

    4. Christians (protestants) only have 2 sacrements, both of which i have done

    5. archbishops are catholic and give more credit to the pope than the bible

    6. History teachers don't teach bout Jesus because you cant learn everything in 1 semester

    7. how do i misinterpret???

  • @FishTurd69 Or it could be that the evidence for a historical Jesus pales in comparison to the historical evidence for, say, Emperor Ceaser Augustus. We have stuff he wrote, contemporary accounts of his actions and a huge whallop to British history to prove it xD

  • @LichQueenKathie actually u'd be surprised that its quite the opposite, as a matter of fact the leading arguement agaisnt is not enough witnesses, but there are texts thousands of years old that match Jesus

  • @FishTurd69 if you mean the dead sea scrolls well no they only hold the old testimate. if not then could you please list the texts so i and others could take a look at them?

  • @prind666 well, im not great with the bible, but i know there are multiple times that an OT reference is seen in the NT...other than that im kinda confused about what ur saying...

  • @FishTurd69 ya cathalocism is the original church of christ. puritans were the first protestants why btw plunged europe into religion wars up untill the late 1900 when the last one(ireland) was finnaly brought to an end. history teachers dont teach about jesus because well theres nothing to teach outside of the bible. if there is please list it and give an explanation.

  • @prind666 i have a slight idea about what ur talking bout (just say my english isnt top knotch) but defs catholicism was earlier than protestant, but at the time of the protestant reformation the catholic church had become quite corrupt and used the fact that common people couldnt read latin (bibles were in latin back then) and used it to control the people. the wars are extremeists sides of the faith. anything that is extreme isnt right

  • @RaveriusMax In John 10:19-21 it says

19 The Jews who heard these words were again divided. 20 Many of them said, “He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?” 21 But others said, “These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

and technically christianity isnt a cult because its completely different from islam, jewish, etc. theres a story in luke chp 16 and john chp 11. go to biblegateway, com and type lazarus and read the results

  • "Try science, it works!" - Thunderf00t

  • His second argument is also directly, word for word copied off of another creationist site.

except he doesnt even get that right

doctor Semmelweis is Austrian and therefore would be pronounced Veis not wise

and even if there were proven to be scientific knowledge in the bible that would only prove humans in the past discovered that knowledge it would never be proof of 'god'

  • Even washing in running water is definitelly not enough! We need special soaps and iodine in extreme cases. Sterile gloves are a necessity as well in many cases.

  • Right then now that's settled; let us ask a genius question to this nutty professor!

How did you evolve from a single cell organism with no ability to produce other cells but to multiply?

If you put a healthy living cell into a solution well conducive to life and give it a better environment than the beginning and puncture it's guts out; Will it then restore itself or evolve to anything??? Despite having ALL the elements needed for life? The answer my silly friend is... NO, never in a millio

  • @1Truth4Mankind *shoots him before he finishing his silly copy pasted spiel*

  • @1Truth4Mankind You don't watch any of TFoot's videos, do you? He has already answered this, current living cells are not basic organisms.

  • I don't have enough thumbs up to give this video. You're a wonderful, brilliant man.

  • Those 2 religitards should give it up and stone each other to death. Especially the fat fuck with the dumbfuck glasses, looking like he's holding in a dump.

  • anyone else find the fatboy with sunglasses really irritating? Just what's he supposed to signify?

  • science, it works bitches.

  • 0:35 that's why I object to burqas, and all other full body clothing. All that girl is is just a pair of eyes; no visible identity and no visible personality. People try to rationalise it by saying it prevents them from being oggled by men, but burqas effectively take away freedom of expression. Ergo, women are being punished for the actions of men. Go figure.

  • i came here for Tifa :3

  • @Dmaster2k Same here and to laugh at creationists

  • You are great! Love your videos. Thank you. Your hard work isn't in vain.

  • BTW, Semmelweis was Hungarian.

  • You do love you're Futurama :P

  • "and Jesus called out to him" HA! Proof of the phone in the bible.

I have been giving some thought to the idea that christianity held back science during the dark ages. I do agree creationists are sciencephobs and held back many discoveries. That does not explain why the Chinese and Indians did not advance scientifically during the same time period and you can't blame christianity as they don't believe. Why aren't those cultures 500 years ahead of us?

  • @pchtermino1

How do you know we wouldn't be 500 years behind if we never made contact with those cultures? It's not something we can know.

  • @pchtermino1 In fact - according to what I have learned in my history classes - the ideology behind christiannity was a powerfull cultural vehicule for the advancement of science. It inspired the concept of machine-animal, man-machine and the reform paved the way to the industrial revolution in a very indirect way... (long story). Still, what really ''held back'' other cultures such as china who was, until 1500, the first world power, was the need. Unlike european, they did not needed...

  • @semperwhisper ...machines, steam etc as we needed it. Beside, Muslims and Chineses were far more advanced than european people until the late 15th in math, science and art. But we have to thanks christiannity for our expantionnist spirit wich allowed us to conquered the world and wage war against every other nation wich, in time, forced us to discovered and research technology... well... that is a messy explanation... sorry... 2 years of classes in 800 words... but you get the idea.

  • VFX has a MASSIVE homosexual crush on "Dr." Kent Hovind. I wonder if his chubby friend has a crush on VFX? Sad.

  • The Bible maybe says 10000 things or more, so sure some of them were right by coincidence. but i'm sure if you go looking you'll find a lot of things that are NOT right.

  • I believe in Christianity very much but I don't believe it should be shoved down other people's throats as Mr.Paul said. My moral beliefs and fibers are mine and yours are yours. If you are truly against pushing religion or things of that nature onto other people then you should support Ron Paul.

  • I don't know why you even bother with creationists. In my country we say: "The one who tries to prove to an idiot that he's an idiot, is bigger idiot than that idiot!". No offense, but this videos are simply pointless.

  • @goranarsic Well they are not useless. His channel has a lot of scientific value. Also, I'm pretty sure, given the amount of views, that it has impacted the thinking pattern of at LEAST one creationist. If there is anything here that is pointless, it is your comment.

  • @BillHicks420 It is not about "impacting theirs thinking pattern". Any type of serious debate with "creationists" is nothing more than giving credibility to theirs claims, making creationism a serious subject that could be discussed which is much more devastating than "impacting thinking pattern of at least one creationist".

  • @goranarsic I agree it gives them more credit, but they will believe what they believe regardless of the amount of attention is given to them, so why not try to educate their asses as much as possible? Sure, most of them will not budge, but for the 1% that do, it is worth it.

  • its worse than fantasy its schizophrenia

  • @diegonikki

"its worse than fantasy its schizophrenia"

I'd go further and say its state sanctioned mental illness - its the only pathological trait actively encouraged by governments and officials....all because people are scared that without it mankind would fall to pieces. In my view...the sooner we rid ourselves of this delusion the sooner we can usher in the next stage of our evolution. The ultimate problem is that cognitive evolution is so slow we may never get there :(
