the first two snakes in this video are eastern foxsnakes (Elaphe gloydi). The "nest" shown afterwards is a group of male northern watersnakes (Nerodia Sipedon) vieing for mosition of a large female so that they can mate. I'm glad you didn't injur or kill them, they are an important part of the ecosystem. The foxsnakes in particular are quite a nice sighting.
@britishcanuk i later went back and killed all of these snakes for daring to care about the, any replies will only create more snake deaths. the choice is yours.
