Beautiful, powerful, rather terrifying. Indeed, Jadis would laugh to see the poison of despair and bitterness corrupting the Gentle Queen. But she is dead, and I think most fans are sure the Four could not be separated forever, and the Gentle would have the last laugh. ;-) An inspired piece of work.
@thinker5 Oh, there is definitely truth in everything you said. This is just the corrupted bitterness stage of Susan's life. Try my 'Shattered' vid for the 'starting to get it back together' part. Glad you liked the vid!
@LadyLirenel Ta for the reply, and yes, "Shattered" is glorious, also in my favourites! I was watching this again and thinking, it also fits in well with the "witches never really die" idea from PC, maybe some part of Jadis' spirit or whatever lingered, and was able to influence and be sustained by a Narnian who, without meaning to, left herself vulnerable by falling prey to things Jadis uses: resentment, rebellion etc. [Continued]
@LadyLirenel [Part 2] Anyway, I'm rambling, sorry, but you inspired me. Maybe I'm just desperately looking for an explanation for all that "warrior princess" style bizarreness the movie perpetrated on Susan's character! I hope you keep vidding, and I would especially love it if you could do anything more on Susan. You are gifted!
@thinker5 I think your idea is a little what I was going for in the vid, that Jadis was in part responsible for Susan's fall. Of course, my personal belief is that Jadis is the personification of Death which in Christianity is the result of sin. So I guess it's more that Susan is becoming more like Jadis as she loses faith, influenced by the corrupting power of Death. Something like that. I'm glad you like the vids, though. I hope to make more, including more of Susan.
Well, since I'm not sure what exactly I was thinking when making this, I'm not surprised it's a little confusing. I was also practicing some different effects at the time, I think.
This video really gets to me, the emotion is almost overwhelming. It made me cry the first time I watched it(but I'm just an emotional person). Simply amazing.
So...did she (in an unconscious sense) embrace Jadis instead of Aslan by denying Him? Gosh, great job with this! It was very emotional, especially the Susan-Jadis and parts during LB with her siblings! ^U^ Rock on!!

I'm glad you thought the vid was good, even if it made you cry.

Yup! Though, actually, I can't really remember what I was thinking when I made this, but that sounds close enough. =D

That was very well put together... and incredibly sad and slightly creepy.
