@Reeper123 Saenchai Kor Singstar is the best muay thai boxer at the moment. It's certainly not Buakaw!! He;s good but not at Saenchai's level.
There are many superstars in the world of thai boxing in Thailand, Samat is a fighter from before who was very well regarded. For western thai boxers only one is truly regarded in Thailand and that is Ramon Dekker from Holland.
Also try Nam sak noi who was from the same gym as Buakaw, he has a very impressive win/loss record. (There are 100's more)

But if you take any pure striker and put him in MMA he isn't going to last, because he wont be well rounded enough. The range of skills is so immense in MMA that developing any single aspect to its peak becomes more difficult and less productive. And you have to think twice before throwing blows too, because you can get taken down or slammed.
@yusufmaroof No1 in the ufc has the level of striking buakaw does. The LHW and HW would win because of sheer size. There's a video of Jose Aldo training with andy souwer. Let's just say aldo looked like an amateur next to souwer. Also, the many KO's happen because mma fighters do not have the same level of striking as the muay thai fighters/boxers, so their defensive striking sucks, and they get KOed much much more easilly. MMA fighters win in an mma match due to grappling.

This guy is a bit of a monster! Seriously strong, fast, flexible and a large range of competition techniques. He may not be as fighting intelligent and diverse as Saenchai Kingstar, but he more than makes up for it in fitness and surgical technique.
As for TKD, Karate and other martial arts: if you've ever done any of these martial arts, you'd know its not the art but the fighter. But, if you had to choose only one stricking art, Muay Thai would probably give you the most weapons fastest.

Buakaw has been fighting since he was 4 years old and one of the most technical and most talented fighters i've ever seen.

Not only is Bruce Lee physically bigger and BY FAR stronger than Buakaw, knowing Bruce Lee was in literally peak maximum Humean physical condition (no other man in this world was ever to achieve that type of level recorded) and by far a more skilled technique as in being the "father of MMA" he would have Buakaw down by the time the first round finishes. Don't get my wrong, Buakaw is my favorite kickboxer

@N1ceV1d Of course the striking isn't going to be on the same level as in a pure striking sport with a higher level of competition. But if you take any pure striker and put him in MMA he isn't going to last, because he wont be well rounded enough. The range of skills is so immense in MMA that developing any single aspect to its peak becomes more difficult and less productive. And you have to think twice before throwing blows too, because you can get taken down or slammed.

@yusufmaroof No1 in the ufc has the level of striking buakaw does. The LHW and HW would win because of sheer size. There's a video of Jose Aldo training with andy souwer. Let's just say aldo looked like an amateur next to souwer. Also, the many KO's happen because mma fighters do not have the same level of striking as the muay thai fighters/boxers, so their defensive striking sucks, and they get KOed much much more easilly. MMA fighters win in an mma match due to grappling.

This guy is a bit of a monster! Seriously strong, fast, flexible and a large range of competition techniques. He may not be as fighting intelligent and diverse as Saenchai Kingstar, but he more than makes up for it in fitness and surgical technique.
As for TKD, Karate and other martial arts: if you've ever done any of these martial arts, you'd know its not the art but the fighter. But, if you had to choose only one stricking art, Muay Thai would probably give you the most weapons fastest.

BUAKAW HAS OVER 220 FIGHTS WITH 196 WINS.
U REALLY THINK U CAN BE AS GOOD AS HIM? THEN START DOING THE 12 HOUR TRAINING DAYS FOR THE NEXT 20 YEARS. COS THATS HOW LONG BUAKAW HAS TRAINED.
