this game is so untraditional to sonic. you get chests instead of item bubbles. there are no springs, dash pads, pullies, or egg man. And what about the chaos emeralds? i don't even see rings, so does that mean no ring dashes? at least there are rails and good graphics. why did they mess with the camera so much, sonic & bk, sonic & SR, Unleashed all have cameras that seem so stiffly behind sonic, unlike in sonic adventure (dream cast/GC) or SA2 Battle... i h8 the new cameras

I actually think it's nice that Sega is trying out a few new things with Sonic. Unleashed actually looks pretty fun and I'm thinking of buying it. Just because they decide to experiment with the gameplay a bit doesn't automatically make a game bad. I mean, look how much Nintendo's experimented with and expanded upon Mario over the past 12 years or so. I actually think the Storybook concept that Sega's been working on with Secret Rings and Black Knight is pretty interesting.

ya but it's a mixed up concept. plus what made most people (or just me) think unleashed was mediocre is because there were too many werehog stages that were really long, and too little sonic stages which were really short.

oh, no, i agree with you on the staes part. just imagine a game where sonic runs like that in every level, or having the choice of choosing who does what. try this on for size: The multi-choice character selection of Sonic Adventure, mixed with the 3D engine of Sonic Unleashed, mixed with old-school style gameplay of the genesis series. and as an added bonus: playing as Super Sonic ON ALL LEVELS, INSTEAD OF JUST THE LAST ONE!!! HELL YES!!! colect all chaos emeralds, and ride like the wind, baby.

If you complete certain missions you get legacy missions that contain past sonic enemies and objects and if you complete that you get a world ring, collect them all and you get a special music..However a lot of the missions to get these missions are very hard..I have completed every mission in the game that I can, everything else is near impossible.....

Wow there's so much else to do in this game. Even though the story is very short you have all these missions, over 200 items to collect, wifi missions and unlockable characters. There's certainly a lot more pack into this than Unleashed. I might be playing this for a while.
